A British Christian couple, returning to their home in London after four years, find how Islam has changed it all... Their Muslim neighbours call them: "fucking white bastard".
I have just returned to London, where I have lived since I was 11. I have been away for four years, living as an ethnic minority in a monocultural part of the world, amassing a host of stories to tell to disbelieving friends. On the whole, I am glad to return. I shan't miss some locals' assumptions that, being a white woman, if I was outside after dark, as I occasionally was, usually to walk the few metres between my house and the church, I must be a prostitute eager to give them a blow job. I shan't miss the abuse my priest husband received: the daubing of "Dirty white dogs" in red paint on the church door, the barrage of stones thrown at him by children shouting "Satan". He was called a "f***ing white bastard" more than once, though, notably, never when in a cassock. I will also not miss the way our garden acted as the local rubbish dump, with items ranging from duvets and TV sets, to rats (dead or twitching) glued to cardboard strips, a popular local method of vermin control to stem the large numbers of them which scuttled between the rubbish piled in gardens and on pavements. Yes, I am very glad to have left Britain's second city.
For four years, we lived in inner-city Birmingham, in what has been a police no-go area for 20 years. We know that because some plain-clothed cops told us when they asked to use our vicarage as a stake-out to bust drugs rings that pervade the area. Having heard a parishioner's tales of what his neighbours did to him when he was wrongfully suspected of having grassed up a cock-fighting ring, we refused, explaining that we had to live here, they didn't. Even during this time we saw the area change. When we arrived, the population was predominantly Pakistani. Now Somalis are there in equal number. Most of the run-down Irish pubs were turned into mosques during our time.
As a woman, it was difficult for me to gain many first-hand impressions of the Muslims. I was generally ignored by both men and women, and on the rare occasion that I had to interact, when for example a car was parked illegally and blocking my gate, I was addressed as if inconsequential. My husband, however, faithfully reported conversations which you may find somewhat alarming. One of our favourite dinner-party pieces is this: opposite our vicarage there is a "library" which has some computers, some burkas and occasionally tracts that say offensive things about Jews and Christians. My husband did his photo-copying there, and got on rather well with everybody. One day he was chatting to a man with a passing resemblance to Lawrence of Arabia, who had just arrived from Antwerp — one of an increasing number of Muslims who are arriving here with EU passports. He asked him why he had come to Birmingham. He was surprised at the question: "Everybody know. Birmingham — best place in Europe to be pure Muslim." Well, there must be many places in Europe where Muslims are entirely free to practise their faith, but I suspect there are few places in which they can have so little contact with the civic and legal structure of a Western state if they choose. It seems to be particularly easy to "disappear" if that is their intention. A parishioner once described a lorry pulling up outside his house, the side opening to reveal stacked mattresses full of sleepy, and presumably illegal, immigrants, who staggered out into broad Brummie daylight. We heard tales of how houses are exchanged for cash payments in our area. An untaxed car was once clamped by a frightened-looking official at 8am, but within hours the owner of the vehicle had organised the clamps to be sawn off, and he sped away.
Another instance of separation from the Western world is revealed in the following: my husband frequently chatted to a neighbour who could be described as one of the more questioning Muslims, and who has often provided an insight into the locals' mindset. Even this man, however, believes what the whole community thinks: the 9/11 planes were organised by Jews. Everybody knows there were no Jewish people in the World Trade Centre that day, as they had been tipped off. Oh, and the Mumbai terrorists had been kidnapped and brainwashed by Indian people. The tendency towards denial is strong. When my husband mentioned the "dirty white dogs" graffiti to a local Muslim, the response was, "One of your people did it." I have to say that the police's response was no better when the local Methodists complained about the same thing. They chose not to believe it had happened, since we had removed all sign of it with the buckets of anti-graffiti chemicals we had stocked since we arrived. They asked, somewhat pathetically: "Are you sure it was racist?"
To a London reader, born and bred with multiculturalism, I know that my stories may come across as outlandish and exaggerated, and that I must surely be a BNP voter — I have observed people's expressions as they have listened to my tales of life in Brum. When I recently told a friend how a large Taliban flag fluttered gaily on a house near St Andrew's football stadium for some months, her cry of "Can't you tell the police?" made me reflect how far many of our inner cities have been abandoned by our key workers: our doctors and nurses drive in from afar, the police, as mentioned before, have shut down their stations and never venture in unless in extremis — they and ambulance crews have been known to be attacked — even the local Imam lives in a leafier area.

The europeans and the americans always had a soft corner for the muslims. We know that for sure in India. They had supported the pakis in all their wars aginst India. Remember the USA sending its seventh fleet to the Indian ocean to intimidate India during the 1971 war with Pakistan ? Ofcourse , the seventh fleet could do nothing ,since India crushed Pakistan in just 14 days , making them surrender in East Pakistan which is now Bangladesh. After 9/11 ,they suddenly discovered "islamic fundamentalism" "islamic terrorism" and what not. This realisation came only when they had their arse burnt. Today they are facing the islamic onslaught of immigrant muslims who are asking for islamisation of their host countries, creating no go areas where muslims live , implementing 'sharia courts', abusing the host in every way possible. Yet you will find immigration happening all the time. Now the muslims say that in twenty years they will overtake the local population and put the flag of islam in many countries in Europe like Denmark, Norway, France ,etc. These are the wages of your sins, you will not escape it.

You reap what you sow. So what are you cribbing about ? The european always found kindred feeling in muslims because of the common 'prophets they shared ,except Muhamad. They pandered to these fanatical nuts , encouraged immigration , while they were contemptuous of hindus. Has any hindu immigrant indulged in such things as claiming superiority of their religion like muslims ? Or calling for things like 'sharia' ? Or indulged in terrorist activities like the muslims? The hindus were law abiding citizens or immigrants by and large . They never had no go areas for nonhindus like the muslims do. They have always contributed to the countries by their hard work and diligence. Yet , the west had always supported muslims against India , especially Pakistan ,in arming it against India , till recently. Now they are staring at islamic nuclear bombs aimed at Israel and the west and the one in Pakistan aimed at India. These nuclear bombs can get into the hands of muslim terrorist organisations and you can imagine the havoc it will cause. For after all islam is a destructive and desperate cult and you cannot expect any sanity and reasoning from them. The wages of sin is the callous and unprincipled foreign policy of the west that is evident even today with muslimfanatics capturing power in Egypt, Tunisia, Libya ... all going the Saudia Arabia way.

actions is what counts, not beliefs. Never deny someones right on basis of he believes like islam does. The whole point is, is that religion should be not a part of anything except individually and privately. That's why secularization is the best. No one should follow the laws from a (holy) book because it's not an authority we agree on. It's only an opinion and it should stay that way. I know many muslims who are not muslims by the standards of islam as it is written. They do not pray 5 times and do not do the fasting etc etc. they certainly won't go to mecca wich is only a commercial activity to the saudi's. If by H you are referring to Hitler - he was just a kid in the early 1900s. A corporal in WW1 and only came to power in Germany in the 1930's. He didn't deport people. If a Muslim attains proficiency in any field, he/she would utilize the same in the interest of Islam, not in the interest of the host country which is a dar-ul-harb. Islam is only a political ideology, without any ethnic or racial content. So, I fully support Balam on his proposed treatment of Muslims. If, millions of Christian/Hindus can declare their religious orientation as atheist, agnostics, theist etc., why should the Muslims not follow suit but insist on their religious identity? It takes just one minute to declare apostasy and become a member of decent human being.

If any Christian finds inadequacy in Christianity, he would take shelter under Islam as first option, in the case of Muslim it is vice versa. It's very strange to us that converting others is part of Christian/Islamic spirituality. You can't call yourself a Christian if you start a world war and order to have 6 million Jews murdered. Hitler abused Christianity to his own advantage in order to climb on the social ladder and gain power. Instead of finding the "Kingdom of Heaven" inside him, like Jesus Christ commanded, and every real Christian should strive for, he used external religious concepts to enhance his social standing. Hitler admired Islam because it is the most effective external religion known to mankind to suppress, submit, restrain, control, dominate and rule the masses. The entire Islam religion purpose is to prepare its minions for a perpetual war with unbelievers, gain unbeliever's possessions and keep the ruling elite in power. Off course, this can only be done by taking away all of people's freedom and substitute that void with copious man made laws that benefit the power elite so they can gain more wealth and power while keeping the masses in poverty. Why Mr. Rzq, are you defending such a system? What are you going to gain? Why would you want to have every aspect of your life controlled?

Actually Rqz, I'm an atheist. Been so since I received something called "education". I'm a man of science, and I beleive in a universal moral code, with respect for the environment, other species, and freedom for all sentient beings, under a responsible government.
But I though comparing Islam and Christianity in their respective descriptions of the afterlife would be less of a shock for you.
Note that as an Atheist, if you are right, and the afterlife is an "eternal orgy with virgin women (note I say women, not young girls) - it might be a hoot! But I'd have to beleive in Islam I guess, and then die a martyr and all that crap... Guess I'll pass on this, because, as you know, Allah decided this for me, it's not my fault...

Funny that! I became a practicing Muslim during my education. Different courses for different horses. I got no beef with your set of beliefs or values.

According to the Muslim belief system a human can do jack without the will of Allah. Is that free will? If we really look at arabic, then shahada doesn't actually state "and Muhammad is his messenger" but rather "intensely praiseworthy is the messenger of Allah". Muhammadan rasulullah. Muhammadan is not a name but an adjective in this sentence. The biggest evidence for this is the rock of the dome where it been stated and it is the oldest qur'anic reference that exist (692 AD). But here it comes...the whole story is about Jesus!

Our Muslim friend has confirmed my basic premise about his islamic belief system:
- Allah
- his books (Koran, Ahadith, Sirat Rasul Allah)
- the 'holy prophet' Muhammed

Our Muslim friend has confirmed my basic premise about his islamic belief system:

There is no difference in what 'Rzq' believes and what Osama bin Laden believes. It is probable that in his lifetime 'Rzq' will be approached by a more pious Muslim than he, and will be challenged to live the Sunnah. This means acting like Muhammed.

I wonder if you are talking about Balsall Heath in Birmingham?? I am a non-muslim asian who lives on the otherside in neigbouring Egbaston and I work as a GP in Balsall Heath. In the 30 years there I have noticed the area change much in the same way this article has been written.
This used to be a well respected, upmarket area and very safe. As the years have gone by and the area has been Islamised I have seen general degredation which is reflected in the population that I look after.
I aslo have noted the influx of Pakistani, Somali and Arabs. With them they bring their social depravities and this area has indeed become a no go area. Often I am told about how great Islam is and how great it would be to make this country an Islamic republic.
What I find perverse is that this all comes from immigrants who have fled their own countries for a better life here, a country not based upon Islamic thinking or ideals, but in fact democratic, Christian, non-Sharia principles. It is a tragedy to think that this country would be any better with such Islamisation.
I am lucky enough to know what really goes on, behind closed doors and know that certainly if this was an Islamic country, all these hypocrits would be fleeing to the next humanist stronghold to feed again.
I have always done my job and looked fairly over them all, but I cannot help to think that these parasitic despots would be flee once the pot is empty. I for one am a campaigner for the abolition of welfare. The population I care for is largely unemployed and on benefits. Unfortunately keeping them alive and helathy is a great public spenditure. If we were to copy other Islamic countries, then these unfortunate people would no longer benefit what they now enjoy.

Close to half of the mordern muslims realize that, and are pissed off about, the way women are treated. That half are the muslim women themselves. One woman at a time, one family at a time.
And Islam was fine for centuries when it was in total control of un-educated, poor civilians. But it cannot cope with education. That's why the Taliban refused access to education for women. Educated women are the single biggest threat to Islam. Add to this the ease of access to information the Web gives, and it spells doom for the cult.
True Muslims men are terrified. Not the women, their fate can only improve. The muslim men realise they are loosing the battle. That's why they get angry and manifest in the streets in the UK. Regarding your 'opinions' comment - seems Angry Muslims have a lot of opinions also, mainly in "free" western countries, where we gave ourselves "freedom of speech": Some fine example:
- Death to America, UK, ect...
- Non-beleivers can go to hell
- Freedom can go to hell
- Death to gays
- Death to apostates
- Jizya to non-beleivers
- Ect...
All good stuff.
And Mosques being built everywhere? Sure !!! Everywhere Muslims are landing!!! Because Muslims are seeking the freedom western countries gives them. Salladin, I agree with you. I beleive their community, family, friends, Imams and others prevent free thinking, up to a point - must not disappoint!
Notice that most "Angry" Muslims stop where Abc and Rzq stopped in this discussion thread - faced with these simple questions, they are stumped. The lady who wrote this article is telling the truth.
My storey is similar. I worked for 19 years as a fire-fighter and trained para-medic in East London.
I have always lived and worked in East London.
Whilst working for the emergency services I was ‘totally blind’ to any; colour, class, religion, race etc. I served well and; saved, rescued, aided and assisted all peoples. Furthermore I worked for the Trade Union and avidly campaigned for ‘positive discrimination’
I visited many fire-stations and explained how importent it was that all emergency services reflected the societies they work in, for the benefit of all.
I actively argued and campaigned for Palestine.
I am in a mixed race marriage and I believe I can say how life really is in parts of East London.
The Muslims, especially post 9/11 have turned this place into a miserable, dreadful and frightening place. I am on first name turns with my Dr and she says that the white minority in this area are suffering huge amounts of mental illness. Due to the discrimination and hate they are victims of.
My wife left the country in the end, exhausted and frightened because Muslim men felt comfortable in abusing her and demanding free sex from a ‘slag and a whore’
I have been called a ‘white bastard’ and told to ‘f**k off from here you white c**t’ My best friend Tom (an avid Palestinian activist) was set upon and beaten by a gang of Muslim men, who tried to kick him to death for being a ‘white bastard’ Tom was 59 and did not have time to take his glasses off and the glass from him spectacles became imbedded in his face.
Last year 2 white Chaplains were attacked and one had a Stanley knife cut his face requiring 28 stitches.
This evil of the Muslims will never stop. They hate us and want to take over. If you want to see the future look at Kosovo, look how the Muslim ‘immigrant’ population acted once they became the majority.
I often write to Muslims and fans of Muslims on TV and ask them at debates and ask them this ‘Did Mohamed lead the perfect life and set the perfect example?’ they always confirm this. So I say ‘he married his wife when she was 6 and consummated the marriage when she was 9’ they reply with death threats.
We need a coherent, educated voice to explain to people just how things truly are. I have grown to hate them all and think we must accept that war has been declared (by them) and accept it and return the war.

Your story is shared, I dread, with many others, in many places.
This is the "Angry Muslim" supremacist view. "Angry Muslim" men frustrated beyond their capacity to reason to the point they lash out at what their Holy hatred-filled book tells them to hate. (Note that I believe sexual frustration is probably the core - hence the 72 virgin reward for martyrs).
These "Angry Muslims" choose not to elevate themselves to modern multicultural standards. Ironic that they BENEFIT from western FREEDOMS and then LOWER OTHERS to the point of contempt, and eventual physical brutality.
In my book, they are simply traitors. Traitors to the states that harbors and protects them, traitors to the population that set-up and created these states in the first place.
They bring their intolerant filth with them when immigrating, and spread it (or try to) to newer generations and others through violence.
This is a sign of true weakness. They are scared cowards, and they realize that they are on the losing side. They cannot REASON anybody to accept their misogynistic, retarded views, so as dictated in their holy-hell-book, they lash out with the sword.
Imagine how terrorized the moderate Muslims must be. Those that are able to coexist in peace with others must be also terrorized. Imagine, if these "Angry Muslims" can lash out at any non-Muslims, how they must behave with Muslims that they brand "Apostates" for not believing like they do.
And I believe this is why the moderate Muslims are quiet. They are scared sh*tless by these thugs, afraid of persecution also. And out "politically correct" governments are not protecting the moderate muslims from these "Angry Muslims" - this is an area we should be ashamed of.
But I believe we have many more decades of this, until these Angry Muslims grow older, new generations will replace them with more open, modern beliefs- hoping that they do not transmit this hatred (too much anyho) to the younger generations.
But we have also to wage our silent war. Educate people about the true face of Islam teachings and the contents of the hate-filled Quran. As for the violence the "Angry Muslims" dish out, this will get worse I believe - we only need to look at the past 25 years to get a fell for the next 25.
Let's hope our law enforcement agencies are efficient in dealing with this new inbred threat.
