Islamist Gender Apartheid Creates Sexually Dysfunctional Societies

E-mail Print PDF

Gender apartheid Islamists, who support the segregation of sexes as part of their attempts to control women and their sex life, are a staunchly moralistic people, but their views and actions lead to societies, which are the exact opposite of the kind of societies they want to create.

For one thing, they are very much against gay and lesbian sex, both of which are death-penalty offences in Iran, Saudi Arabia, Northern Sudan, Mauritania, and Yemen, as they were in Afghanistan under the Taliban. The ultra-strict gender apartheid, for example, in Saudi Arabia, led Carmen bin Laden – the half Iranian half Swiss former sister-in-law of Osama bin Laden – to say in her 2004 book, "Veiled Kingdom" (Virago Press, London), that bin Laden would not even look at her when he came to visit her husband, because looking at her was regarded as an adulterous behaviour. Such strict sex-segregation has created a society where vast numbers of clearly heterosexual people are forced by sexual desperation into gay and lesbian sex, as this article, "The Kingdom in the Closet", in The Atlantic magazine shows.

The article points out that "Sodomy is punishable by death in Saudi Arabia, but gay life flourishes there. Why is it "easier to be gay than straight" in a society where everyone, homosexual or otherwise, lives in the closet?"

It is well known that gender-apartheid boarding schools, naval and merchant naval ships, and oil rigs are places where sexual desperation forces heterosexual people into homosexual activities. So, there is no doubt whatsoever that Saudi Arabia's far more strict gender apartheid forces many heterosexual men and women into lesbian and gay sex.

Gender apartheid in Saudi Arabia another sexually dysfunctional phenomenon, which is: young men cruising around in cars holding their phone numbers on pieces of paper against the windows when they pass by (veiled) women, in the hope that the women will be attracted and will call them.

The gender apartheid in other Arab nations is also notorious for forcing clearly heterosexual people into lesbian and gay sex, but Saudi Arabia is the worst example.

Meanwhile, in Afghanistan, gender apartheid has led to an epidemic of gay paedophilia, as this "Daily Telegraph" article, "Paedophilia culturally accepted in South Afghanistan", reveals.

South Afghanistan is where the Afghan Taliban primarily recruit from of course.

Islamist gender apartheid also creates a culture of rape, as I will now explain. This quotation from a magazine about the American serial killer and serial rapist Ted Bundy states ("Murder in Mind: Ted Bundy", Marshall Cavendish, London, 1997, p. 31):

"According to psychologists, rape on an unknown victim is not the act of a man whose sexual impulses have gone out of control. In fact, poor sexual performance during rape is high, which suggests that sex is not the prime motive for rape... Therapists point to a range of underlying causes, such as fear of dealing with women in conventional courtship, and exaggerated ideas of masculinity, leading to asserting power which relegates women to an inferior position."

Men, who are segregated from women throughout their life, are more likely to develop a fear of "dealing with women in conventional courtship" than men, who are not. They are also more likely to develop "exaggerated ideas of masculinity, leading to asserting power, which relegates women to an inferior position", because some male-only institutions, for example schools, can have macho, "exaggerated ideas of masculinity", cultures.

Samira Bellil, In the Hell of Tourantes

Even in the West, Islamist gender apartheid, for example in mosques and Islamic schools, creates similar problems. As a run, the Dutch run classes to teach young Muslim men to abandon ambush-type seduction techniques, which can be a precursor to rape, as well as gang-rape. This is very common in some mostly-Muslim areas of France, which has been recounted Samira Bellil, a victim of numerous gang rapes, in her book, "In the Hell of the Tournantes" that shocked France. Gang rape is the result of a more macho type of thinking than even rape, as it is only possible when all of a group of men have the same macho mentality. If one or more of them does not have that mentality, they would refuse to take part in gang rape, and might report it to the police. So, the fact that gang rape is very common in some mostly-Muslim areas of France proves that those neighbourhoods have a much more macho culture than areas, where gang rape is not common.

You can read about Samira Bellil's book in this article by Sharon Lapkin, "Western Muslims' Racist Rape Spree", which highlights numerous examples of rapists' and gang rapists' macho attitudes and behaviour, which, as I have said, gender apartheid helps to foster.

Marital rape is illegal only in a small minority of Muslim countries, for example Albania. So, that is undoubtedly another vast, and mostly hidden, problem caused by Islamic gender apartheid.

As gender apartheid creates macho behaviour, it has also produced the phenomenon of honour murder of rape-victims, which plagues, for example, rural Pakistan. After lobbying by Western politicians, Pakistan has been forced to stop jailing married rape-victims as adulterers, but honour murders of rape-victims continue, as do rapes of women for honour revenge, such as that of Mukhtaran Bibi.

American feminist Phyllis Chesler, who has written extensively about gender apartheid, for example her “Islamic Gender Apartheid” speech to a US Senate hearing, points out that it also leads to controlling women’s sex life and other human rights abuses of women, such as female genital mutilation, daughter and wife beating, child marriage, first cousin marriage (which has led to a higher percentage of birth defects among British Pakistanis, who, unlike for example British Bangladeshis, often marry their first cousins), forced veiling, the segregation of women, and polygamy. Moreover, women, who refuse to accept the slave-like status, are punished, for example, by honour killing.

This Sexual Dysfunction is not necessarily gay or lesbian
written by Chris LA , January 11, 2012
Gang rape and sodomy are forms of sexual aggression, but they do not necessarily reflect a sexual orientation in the perpetrator or victim which is the psychological basis for homosexuality. A gay man or woman is sexually attracted to people of the same sex more than they are to people of the opposite sex. The Muslim males having sex together probably don't see the other as more sexually attractive than females, but that the only way they can "get off." In Afghanistan, men have sex with boys and often sodomize their wives because the are expressing their sexual domination, not because they particularly enjoy that more than normal heterosexual intercourse. That's why Muslims who engage in homosexual behavior probalby would not see themselves as gay or lesbian -- they are just "getting off." Yes. gender aparthheid creates some really screwed up people.

Interesting article!

There are recent reports from Saudi Arabia that young men are not allowed to enter
Shopping Malls because many of them are chasing and harassing women
whenever they get the opportunity. In turn, many wear Abayas (women clothes)
or they ask strange women to enter together.

Islamic lesbianism
written by fineliving56 , January 12, 2012
Was, wide spread all over the Muslim world for hundreds of years especially during the rule of the Ottoman dynasty all over the middle east. It is a direct of result of the absolute prevention of mix of sexes in every aspects of life, schools , families gatherings , weddings , coffee shops …we still have these strictly men coffee shops where men play chess and discuss politics .

The separation of sexes, made man, act like starving bulls in streets and busses …they will have no shame to grab, pinch and fondle women unknown to them ...which only brushed off as, **men have to be men** …men even rape, turn to homosexuality and molesting boys …men who have no means for the high price of brides, end up doing this kind of low life acts. …understandable …..of course that is not an excuse .

As for women, things are completely different, women needs are less sexual then companion ship, love and understanding ,and, what other person then women who understand other women . The sexual part became part of the social gatherings called **Istiqbals ** they are women parties where women wear the sexiest and the finest clothes where they cannot do any out side . This kind of revolt is a result of complete cover in black where women look like sax of potatoes . …So they go to these gatherings in mini skirts and low cuts with makeup caked on. Dancing, singing with all women bands …all that resulted in women turning to women for sex they are called ** banat al ishrah ** the girls of relationships ] …combined with non exciting of opposite sex.
What is the strangest thing to me that having sex with women is not look up on it as haram or against Islam, it is considered as only having fun between women, only sex with men other then husbands is haram. I was allowed to go to these parties when I was a little girl where I saw something I did not understand at that time …but now of course know what it means.
My own grandmother who was married at 11 and she was treated like owned possession had these kind of parties which I only discovered after she was gone …I do not condone doing that but I do understand why she turned to other women for affection.
Lesbianism still is going on until now …but I do not think it is look upon it as expectable as before at least where I come from . women are allowed to mix with men so fooling around with men is up and fooling around with women is down …
that must be moving in the right direction .

Gender Segregation
written by Gnostic , January 12, 2012
I think there is also an economic dimension of the issue. No jobs for women means also a lack of efficiency because women are superior in some fields. Women should also receive more opportunities in politics but this is only wishful thinking.

It doesn't matter much here. At least you get yourself free from your self appointed teacher, whose English is far inferior than yours.

Thank you for your very bold post. You have cast some light into the dark alley of human society in general. On going through your post I am reminded of an Urdu short story 'Lehp' (The quilt) written by renowned female writer Ismat Chughtai. The story describes in graphic details prevalence of lesbianism in the backyard of Muslim society, which agrees very well with your real life experience.

Gender segregation is the delight of homosexuals and lesbians, as it provides them ample scope to pursue predatory sexual activity. They choose a straight man/woman and start predatory sex under the pretext of fun as reported by you. Gradually, they make the straight man/woman economically dependent on him/her so that, it becomes difficult for the victim to break free from the relationship. But the smarter one snaps the relationship as soon as it becomes clear to him/her that it is real sex not fun.

Sociologists say that around 2% of human population is homosexual/lesbian. So, their number is very significant. There is material ground to keep vigilant watch on all same sex friendship maintained by our near and dear ones.

You welcome ...
The hard cold truths are usually the most difficult to tell. The reason I could tell My grandmother story is because she is diseased and … I think if she knows the whole story of Islam … I feel she would not mind … I know I wouldn't.
We are in defense of our humanity from Islam ….we have to use every weapon even secrets of family to expose what Islam and Muslim really like.

There is a lot more to tell …. it is hair rising stories

One day I will bring up the courage to talk about them ….No one knows except the dead and me.

I am not the first or the last Muslimah to experience hell on earth because of Islam …. the fact that women are suffering in Islam is not strange occurrence as you know .

thanks
