Many well-meaning Westerners and infidels tell us that Islam is just an ancient religion with outdated ethical concepts like many others, or that Islamic scriptures contain violence passages as does other scriptures. Why such judgement is fallacious and what it entails to the future of our civilization???

Ancient religious texts like the Koran contain outdated ethical concepts. The Old Testament has brutal laws and violent passages. As a result Christians and Jews don't follow them. Muslims are the same as Christians and Jews; they pick what works and reject what doesn't work. Why should Islam be considered any worse than other religion or cult?
The short answer is that Islam is not similar to anything else, including religions such as Christianity. As far as the Koran having any outdated ethical concepts, that is impossible. According to Islamic doctrine, the Koran is perfect, eternal and universal. It does not contain the slightest error since contains the exact words of Allah. Hence, it can never be outdated.
Also, the Koran is a derivative book. Every idea in the Koran, with two exceptions, can be traced to earlier works. The two novel ideas in the Koran are that Mohammed is the last prophet of god and that violent force, jihad, can be used to harm those who don't agree with Mohammed. Violence against kafirs (unbelievers) is systemic in all of Islam's texts and forms a central theme.
Yes, the Old Testament has violence, but there is no real parallel to the Koran and Islam. Look at the numbers. The violence in the Old Testament is limited to a few verses. The violence in the Koran against the kafir (unbeliever) takes up 61% of the text. Every mention of the kafir is brutal, condemning, pejorative, hateful and threatening. The Hadith, the Traditions of Mohammed, has 20% of its text devoted to jihad. The Sira, Mohammed's life, has 70% of the text about Mohammed as prophet devoted to jihad.
These numbers show that the analogy between the violence in the texts of the Jews and Christians is vastly overdrawn.
The next suggested parallel between Islam and Christians is that both pick and choose from their texts. Every Muslim believes that the Koran is perfect down to the last letter. It does not have a single error. This makes it very difficult to ignore.
But a Muslim does have a way to make choices that a Christian, Jew, Buddhist or Hindu cannot. Islam has dualistic ethics. Muslims are all brothers and to be treated as such. But there is no Golden Rule and a Muslim may choose to treat the kafir badly or well, depending upon the situation and needs. That is the nature of dualistic ethics.
Dualism also allows the choice of the Meccan Koran or the Medinan Koran. When Mohammed was in Mecca, he was weak and attempted to get along with the Meccans. This gives us the verses of tolerance. Later, in Medina Mohammed had power and the Koran became cruel and vicious towards any person who denied Mohammed. So every Muslim has the choice of tolerance and coexistence from the Meccan verses, or any of the physical violence or hatred found in the Medinan Koran.
There is another choice that a person who claims to be a Muslim can make. They may choose to be a kafir by ignoring an Islamic doctrinal point. It is very odd, but people assume that every action by one who calls them a Muslim is pure Islam. But the Koran condemns Muslims who make choices to imitate kafirs. This condemnation extends to those who choose to apply the Golden Rule to kafirs.
So there are three kinds of Muslim, depending on their choices: Meccan Muslim, Medinan Muslim and kafir Muslim.
There is a great danger in trying to understand Islam through Christianity or any other Western idea or concept. The underlying assumption is that Islam is similar or has parallels to kafir culture. This means that Islam does not need to be studied, because it is "like" some kafir concept or institution such as freedom and Christianity. This idea is false and has no supporting facts to prove it. Islam is sui generis, unique, and without parallel.
Islam stands entirely on its own with a separate logic, reasoning and ethical system. Islam must be studied on its own. In the end this means understanding the themes of the Koran and the life of Mohammed found in the Sira and the Hadith.
Why is Islam worse than any other religion or cult? Simple, it is not a religion, but a complete civilization that has a political doctrine of annihilating and subjugating all kafir civilizations. This doctrine had been put into action for the last 1400 years and has caused the deaths of 270 million kafirs.
Islam has annihilated entire civilizations. Take Afghanistan as an example. Before, Islam invaded the civilization of Gandharva, it had been peaceful for four centuries and was wealthy. Buddhism flourished and great art was produced. Then came Islamic jihad and Ghandarva was destroyed down to the last work of art and the last Buddhist. Today we have the armpit of the world-Afghanistan, an Islamic nation based upon Sharia law and Islamic politics. Buddhism and Gandharvan culture have been totally destroyed.
The political theory of Islam and its results correlate 100%. Of course, there are some harmful and creepy cults, but, measured by results, they are not in the same league as political Islam. Islam is the ultimate civilizational predator and should receive most of the attention.
Today we have two choices in viewing Islam. We can see it as based upon its doctrine and history or we can choose to see it on the basis of multiculturalism-all cultures are equally valid. But Islam denies that all cultures are equally valid. Islam insists that it is superior all other cultures. All cultures are not equally valid and all other cultures must submit. It is the will of Allah, and it is Sunna (the way of Mohammed). What is odd is that tolerant multiculturalists defend the Islamic monoculture so much.
This means that we also have two other choices. Will kafirs ignore the threat of total destruction or go on pretending that Islam is similar to other cultures? Will we foolishly apply the Golden Rule to a civilization based on dualism and hope to create an Islam that respects kafirs and treats them well? But Allah hates kafirs and it is Sunna to immigrate, deceive and make the kafirs submit little by little.
Choices: will we choose life or death for kafir civilization?

All abrahamic religions are true in the time they arose. There isn’t a single word that is false in the Koran, the bible or the thora in the time people wrote it. Nowadays we know they are full of nonsense. Yes islam is a totalitarian ideology and yes it is 100% human fabrication using scriptures of others and yes this is the case too for the thora and the bible. Abrahamic religions/beliefs are not unique, they have stolen a great deal of other civilization. They adapted many stories of ancient cultures. Indeed islam is a bit different from other beliefsystems because it contains the way of life of a muslim and it condamnes other systems and unbelievers. For that matter islam is far more worse than others because Allah is not anymore the judger but his followers are. The reason that Christianity is what it is today has nothing to do with God but it has everything to do with science. In the 19th and the 20th century the bible has been rejected to science and the first scientist did, is separating truth from fiction, so all the wonders Jesus did, where the first to reject and so on and so on. In the time of Mohammed Chritians used to say that bible is the word of God litteraly, but after scientific research etc. They now say it is the inspired word of God. What scientist did to the bible, they now perform the same methodology on the Koran. Like the Bible, Koran had many writers, like all civilizations there was first people and then a (holy) book, not the other way around as muslims claim or for that matter the jews who believe that there was a scripture first (thora etc) and after that the judes came, but the truth is, is that it is the other way around. As I told before, islam is a reaction to jews, Christians (Byzantines) and Zoroastrians. Some scientists believe that the first muslims where Christians but a different kind (the eastern version). In that time a part Christians did believe in trinity and an other part did not believe the godly nature of jesus. They battled and murdered a lot who didn’t believe the trinity dogma. After 300 years this part of Christians collaborated with jews who also were banned by the Zoroastrians. Scientist are almost certain that islam is created of these people who also experienced exodus because of the cruelty’s of the Christians and the Zoroastrians. That is the reason that moses is mentioned a lot in the Koran. They identified themselfes with moses. The first Arabic kingdom before mohammed were al hira in the todays Iraq. Al Hira is also the name of the mountaincave where the prophet received the Koran. Truth is that the first Koran recites were used in Hira so people join this political group. The arabs didn’t know a lot about warfare, but here in Hira they had everything. They experienced how the Byzantines went into war and how to perform this.

I know this web site is Muslim intent, I know it is anti-religious just as I am anti-religious. God didn’t create religion but man did. You are becoming very saucy in your language. He demonstrated his power through out the Bible history just to distinguish himself from the idols men worship. Jesus the saviour finally came to reveal God and show us the way back to the creator. God wants to establish personal relationship with man through love. This is the centre of Christ message to mankind. You must be blind not to see the light of the Gospel of Christ shining and affecting lives all over the world this is not religion. How many religious sets are affecting lives positively like the gospel of Christ. It is an experience and not religion and when you do have, you know you have something genuine. To have this experience you must have faith in Christ. You must come to realisation that you are a sinner and be ready to repent and accept Christ atoning death on the cross for the remission of your sins before you can receive power to live a godly live of love and sacrifice for others just as he did on the cross for Mankind. It never say the earth is flat rather it mentioned God laying the foundation of the earth, and also says the earth is hanged on nothing, and the cycle of the earth not flat earth. The Old Testament teaches the sanctity of life and forbids violence against another person in the normal everyday life situation. The taking of life and attacking another person in the course of daily life with violence was a punishable offence: murder by capital punishment, wounding by wounding, injury by injury. On the level of nations waging war or the dispensing of justice by the state violence is involved accordingly and was mandated for the theocracy of Israel according to the laws of Moses or specific one time commands of God as when Israel entered the promised land. An example of this would be punishment for attacks against Israel as they journeyed toward the promised land or to cleanse the land before occupying it. This event of Israel entering the promised land occured once in all of human history and could not be repeated by virtue of it's nature; the "genocide" involved was a unique phenomonen in all of human history, not repeatable. Thus Judaism and Christianity forbid violence toward the fellow man and command love to all men in civilian life. No men are to be excluded from being treated in this way because of their religion or nationality; also no man can exlude himself from the obligation to behave in this way toward all men; it is a universal obligation. The teaching of the Old and New Testament is one on this. Islam is a complete negation of this as the Koran makes violence mandatory for all muslims toward the kuffar for the sin of shirk. The orthodox muslim who obeys the teaching of the Koran must see himself as a warrior who is obligated to fight and kill all non-muslims until there is only one faith in the land; he is commanded by the Koran to hate all non-muslims and to make them feel the anger and wrath of Allah. This hostility is continually fuelled by the Koran and by taking up a permanent victimised and aggrieved stance toward non-muslims and the total abandonment of self-criticism. Thus we have in Europe and America a group of people who, because of the binding teachings of their religion, are constantly in opposition to the foundational and democratic freedoms of the society they are living in, which they are also benefiting from and using to undermine it, and are commited to the overthrow of the same and it's replacement with a totalitarian theocracy based on sharia law which is base, unjust and evil compared with the majestic laws of the Bible given by Moses and Jesus.

I dont think humans were pro-logic or rational before the advent of scientific knowledge which happened almost 2000 years after jesus.
For todays human "Science" should be the religion which is the only knowledge which would take us to god.
As far as peace among humans is concerned it can be achieved instantly once humans get rid of the so called religions and start treating each other as humans and not as christians muslims hindus jews etc etc

I beg to disagree with assertion that there was no science before and after Christ for nearly 2000 years after Christ.
During the time of Paul the Apostle (the New Testament Time) there were several allusions to Paul contending with the educated Jews and Greeks who always demanded for signs and proofs of whatever dogma he was preaching. Christianity prevailed among the Greeks purely due to sound arguments and demonstration of divine power of Gospel of Christ. Just as it spreading among civilised world toward due to sound persuasive reasoning and power demonstration. Even in the Old Testament some kings were said to develop and manufactured machines for warfare and for agriculture. So it is not true to say that man was not pro-logic and that there was no science then.
In 1Cor 1:18-27 The Scriptures says “18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.19 For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.20 Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?21 For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.22 For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom:23 But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumbling block, and unto the Greeks foolishness;24 But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.26 For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;”

An acquaintence of mine (a rather stupid one) converted to Islam because his fiance's seven scary robe-wearing bearded brothers said that he had to if they were going to get married. Dude stayed married for a year (not a real marriage, this went down in East London Mosque), eventually got tired of the wife and thought Islam was some of the stupidest sh*t he'd ever seen. So that was the end of his foray into "Al Islam."

Somebody commented on this web site that Science and logic should be the religion of the day that will lead man to God. I know many people who visit this site and Ali Sina’s site believe in such fallacy. I came here not because I believe such nonsense, but because I believe Islam is evil and must be expelled from the civilised world. This is where we have common interest. Unfortunately many of the people who visit this site are ex-Muslim who have been brainwashed by Mohammed cult belief system and because of the shock of realising that it was all lies and deceptions, they are yet to come to terms that God is real and that it is God who created the world and made man in his own image and it is the same God who sought for man not that man was wise and scientific enough to seek for God.
The Bible is the love letter from a loving God who knew that the imagination and the thought of man is only evil continually. Gen 6:5 and that all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God Rom 3:23, Before God came to the rescue of man, God had allowed man to see whether being left alone he could find God and come back to his creator but man failed, that was recorded in Genesis 3:1-6. That world was destroyed because man with his scientific knowledge and logic did not know that, immorality, violence and wickedness is anti-human and is bad.
Experience has shown that even when God wiped out that generation and started a new generation with Noah’s descendant it was not different, man prefer to worship the creature rather than to worship God the Creator, and so you have all sorts graven images, from the sun, moon, stars, creping things, in the land and sea being worshipped by man. Now man is saying Science should be worshipped too. That necessitated the Ten Commandments in Exodus 20.
How many people know that Science is yet to decode how and who cause this world to come to be. The so called Big Bang theory does not tell who cause the Big Bang neither does science tell why an atom cannot be divided. God’s briefs as recorded in the Bibles for us on account of his creation was not supposed to be a science manual but to complement man’s science and not against it. The Bible says that God was the cause of things which the finite knowledge of man cannot comprehend. God said he was the caused of all things. Gen 1:1.
How many of us know that the God of the Bible is against Religion, in fact through out the book of the Old Testament and the four gospels in the New Testament the word religion was not mentioned. When it was mentioned by Apostle Paul in the His letters it was in derogatory manner because man has developed God instructions which forms the basis of relationship with Him into a religion and Paul said he glory in the Religion of the Jews but without salvation until Christ rescued him. I am Anti-Region because God , and Christ are Anti-Region. No Religion can lead man to God, Nor Science or Logic they all failed in the past and will continue to fail until you come to God through Christ the Saviour.
The truth is that man came into this world not by his design and desire, it is logical therefore that the person whose design and purpose it should be the one to lead man back to that designer. You came into this world free of charge and you will go back to where you came from free of charge. That is the principle under lining the plan of salvation for man.

How many of us know that the God of the Bible is against Religion, in fact through out the book of the Old Testament and the four gospels in the New Testament the word religion was not mentioned. When it was mentioned by Apostle Paul in the His letters it was in derogatory manner because man has developed God instructions which forms the basis of relationship with Him into a religion and Paul said he glory in the Religion of the Jews but without salvation until Christ rescued him. I am Anti-Region because God , and Christ are Anti-Region. No Religion can lead man to God, Nor Science or Logic they all failed in the past and will continue to fail until you come to God through Christ the Saviour.
The truth is that man came into this world not by his design and desire, it is logical therefore that the person whose design and purpose it should be the one to lead man back to that designer. Why do we have put our scenses out of order...why believing first that he was born through the holy ghost and why does God need humans to achieve something. The truth is that man created the god of the scriptures. Did you forget that the bible says that the earth only exist for 6000 years. Did you forget that the thora tells us that noone can die for an other human being. Did yoy forget that satan is God himself an act on behalf of Him in Judaisme. Did you forget that the jews think Jesus is a lair and a blasphemist and that JHWH never can be the same God as the God of the NT. That's why they killed him if he did exist ofcourse. I agree with Machmoed. All religious bigots are indoctrinated lot. They believe the indoctrination of their religion is the truth and others are false. Even today Christians don't believe that humans existed on earth much before their date of Adam as per their scriptures. the concept of a 'correct' religion cannot be explained in a short paragraph.
a theology must be developed based on certain things. one must ask for every religion 'what is this based on?' 'why was it created this way?' 'what is the rational behind it?'
it is easy to understand why Christianity came from Judaism when you read the Old Testament and understand what was going on at the time it was being written down. Certain religions that 'come after' other ones must be examined closely- such as, why does Christianity claim it's roots are in Judaism?
Islam does not answer these questions clearly at all. here are some concepts i thought up.
1) How is islam and Christianity similar?
Answer: they are not. Compare the two central people in these religions, and they are polar opposites. Muhammad said 'surrender to allah,' jesus said 'choose your path.'
2) if there are concepts that are in the New Testament or Old Testament, then Islam has no need to repeat them. They have been stated; it is not necessary to state them again (I can go off on mormons here as well- 'another testament of jesus christ?' come one...). so, if we remove them from the koran, what do we have left?
3) the geneaology of abraham was already stated in the Old Testament. muhammad comes along and simply states 'the old books were changed by the jews.' however, there is absolutely no proof of deliberate altering of the Old Testament to deny islam roots. first off, Judaism came first- and was established for thousands of years before islam reared its ugly head. do muslims actually believe that the Jews of 4000 years ago said 'we must alter these books so the muslims will not be able to claim abraham as their father.'?seriously- that would entail that islam was known from back then, and it would have been completely contrary to everything the Hebrew people lived, practiced, and believed. so, how and why were the books 'changed?'
answer: they weren't. rather, muhammad, while spouting his palp, grabbed a hold of Jewish teachings and simply hijacked them for his own religion, and used it to discredit the Hebrew religion. with absolutely no proof he claimed that Jews had subverted Islam, even before it came to exist.
3) why is the koran written so poorly? why is the structure of the koran not in chronological order? why are the teachings so base in their writing style?
answer: they were stated by an ignorant, uneducated peasant. the koran as we know it today is NOT the actual koran of 1388 years ago. "According to sources, the words of Mohammed were copied down by those who heard him. These were later collected and compiled into a book. They were not collected during his life time. There are no original copies of the Koran in existence. The oldest Koran in existence is the Othman Koran compiled in Medina by Othman, the third caliph. Hadiths (traditions) tell that Zaid bin Thabit compiled the Koran and that Caliph Uthman later had an official version prepared. There have been many revisions, corrections, alterations, interpolations, and changes in wording. The present day Koran cannot be checked for validity against an original since no original exists." (from the Dictionary Of Christian Words)

Why do you defend the Taliban Salladin? If i were in afganistan and if i would see the actions of Taliban towards people (especially girls who want some education), I might kill some Taliban whithout any remource. They are bad news. Why did they blow the Budhas but did not blow the ka'ba...there is no difference between these two in the eyes of your God. Those budha's were actually more beautiful than the Ka'ba wich has been built again and again due to flooding.
