In Allah's very Own words, He isn't...
'Curiosity killed the cat' goes a saying, but in this case, the curiosity of Allah killed Islam.
Muslims often say, and so attest the Quran, that Allah is all-knowing. But as we delve deeper into the Quran, we find that throughout the book, Allah asked hundreds of questions. We find that many of them are just mode of speech and cannot be considered as a genuine enquiry by Allah. Furthermore, there are some questions to which Allah himself gives the answers (for example Quran 40:16). But apart from these, there are some questions posed by Allah, which undoubtedly tarnish His Own reputation as an all-knowing God. I will quote some of them here. Let us begin...
Allah thought he was all-knowing; imagine his horror when he saw a long lethal instrument held by Moses! He could not help asking:
"And what is that in the right hand, O Moses?" (Q 20:17)
Moses explained:
He said, "It is my rod: on it I lean; with it I beat down fodder for my flocks; and in it I find other uses." (Q 20:18)
(This is my favourite enquiry of Allah. Allah, the so-called creator of flat earth, seven heavens, Al-Buraq, Buraq Obama, Genocide Gandhi, had no prior knowledge of a staff?)
Q 20:83 (When Moses was up on the Mount, Allah said:) "What made thee hasten in advance of thy people, O Moses?"
Moses answered that he hastened to please Allah (Q 20:89).
Q 2:108 "Would ye question your Messenger as Moses was questioned of old?"
(Comment: By asking the above question, Allah reveals that he has no idea whether Muhammad would be tested by his fellow Arabs.)
Q 2:260 "When Abraham said: "Show me, Lord, how you will raise the dead," He replied: "Have you no faith?" He said "Yes, but just to reassure my heart.""
(Here Allah, the all-knowing, didn’t realize whether Abraham was a believer! It is hilarious to note that elsewhere the Quran states that Allah knows "what is in their heart", and that he knows "what they conceal and what they reveal" Q2:77.)
Q 3:70 "Ye People of the Book! Why reject ye the Signs of Allah, of which ye are (Yourselves) witnesses?"
Q 3:71 "Ye People of the Book! Why do ye clothe Truth with falsehood, and conceal the Truth, while ye have knowledge?" (See also Q 3:65)
Q 9:38 "O ye who believe! what is the matter with you, that, when ye are asked to go forth in the cause of Allah, ye cling heavily to the earth? Do ye prefer the life of this world to the Hereafter?" (Comment: Allah has no idea why the Muslims are reluctant to go for jihad! See also Q9:13)
Q 10:98 "Why was there not a single township (among those We warned), which believed,- so its faith should have profited it,- except the people of Jonah?"
(Comment: Imagine a God who not only failed in convincing people about his divinity but also is idiot enough to moan and whine about his failures in his holy book!)
Q 15:32 "(Allah) said: "O Iblis! what is your reason for not being among those who prostrated themselves?""
On a similar note...Q 38:75 :(Allah) said: "O Iblis! What prevents thee from prostrating thyself to one whom I have created with my hands? Art thou haughty? Or art thou one of the high (and mighty) ones?""
(The above two verses thoroughly expose Allah's ignorance about the mentality of Iblis. Yet according to Q35:38, Allah knows the hidden things of the heaven and earth, and has full knowledge of what is in (men's) hearts.)
Q 21:6 "(As to those) before them, not one of the populations which We destroyed believed: will these believe?"
Q 37:154 "What is the matter with you? How judge ye?"
Q 39:6 "...There is no god but He: then how are ye turned away (from your true Centre)?"
Q 42:17 "And what will make thee realise that perhaps the Hour is close at hand?"
Q 53:12 "Will ye then dispute with him concerning what he saw?"
Q 56:62 "why then do ye not celebrate His praises?" (Allah has no clue as to why he is so unpopular! See also 56:70.)
Q 57:8 "what cause have ye why ye should not believe in Allah?" (See also 57:10)
Thus, from above we can safely conclude that far from being an all-knowing God, Allah is ignorant, idiotic and clueless.
The only argument that Muslims can call upon for defending the greatness of Allah is the argument of "free will". They can argue that the subjects toward whom the questions of Allah are addressed have the will to answer differently, so this does not undermine the greatness of Allah but increases it. My answer to the "free will" argument would be that the Quran supports predestination. But as predestination in Quran is itself well worth an article, I would choose the easy way out by pointing out the verses of Surah Rum where Allah prophesizes that Romans, after being defeated, would soon be victorious (Q 30:2-3). Now the problem is that a God who can prophesize and thus fix the certainty of an incident in the future cannot be considered as a champion of "free will". For example, say after the defeat, the Romans became lazy while the Persians became more active in building up an even more formidable army, but still if Allah is God and his prophesy holds true the Persians would still be defeated by the Romans. Thus you cannot be a believer in "free will" and yet hold prophesies in high regard.
Furthermore, the story of Al-Khidr (See Surah Kahf) demonstrates how Quran trashes the idea of free will. If Al-Khidr can foresee the future so can his boss Allah and if future is already predetermined, there exists no scope for free will.

The body pieces of Muslims from both side have been lining the streets … and where is Allah … is IT sleeping or may be it has never been there after all ?
Muslims are inventing new ways of how to torture and to kill other Muslims … for all kinds of reasons.
I sow a video of a Little Syrian boy's face half gone …under his nose with flesh exposed and dangling … while he was sting still alive … he looked bewildered as to what happen to him … if he only knew … poor little innocent boy …
It was a sniper strike from far a way targeted this boy …he died short after … I was so glad when I heard death claimed him … death is more merciful then these monstrous Muslims .
The seethe [ I know it is wrong spelling but bare with me please ..I cannot make out the right spelling ] fire was only a sham … the killing machines called Muslims continue to kill and are having too much fun these days.
These Muslims's hunger for Muslim blood seems to never be satisfied … it seems to match their hunger for Jews blood.
Where is the end?!

In Sura 54, Al-Qamar, The Moon, verse 11, Muhammad's gawds tell him:
"WE carried him (Noah) in a vessel built with planks and NAILS which drifted on under OUR eyes: a recompense for him who had been disbelieved."
Ibn Kathir reports that Muhammad would recite sura 54 (as well as Sura 50)
“during major gatherings and occasions because they contain Allah's promises and warnings, and information about the origin of creation, Resurrection, Tawhid (the oneness of Allah), the affirmation of prophethood, and so forth among the great objectives.”
Sura 54 takes its name from its first verse, which refers to the splitting of the moon – a miracle that, according to a hadith, took place during Muhammad’s lifetime. As the Muslims looked agog at the moon split into two parts, Muhammad cried, “Witness, witness (this miracle).” Would you believe...?
Today, some modern-day Muslims claim that this verse constituted a prophecy that was fulfilled during Neil Armstrong’s moon landing in 1969, when the astronauts dug up a bit of the lunar soil and brought it back. ROTFLOL
The name of Muhammad's gawd in Surah 54 is Al-Muqtadir, The Determiner, The Dominant = 54:42, 54:55. Al-Muqtadir is also in 18:45 along with Al-Wahid, The One, The Unique 18:110. (Surah 18 was Muhammad's 69th Recite.)

I am not trying to defend Islam, but many of the above questions by Allah seemed IMO rhetorical in nature. I of course could be wrong, and any non-Muslim here would easily recognize from other verses that Allah is not omniscient. Perhaps some of these verses just weren't the best to use for this article(the one with Moses and his staff didn't exactly seem to be a real question for example).

After the invention, or adopted the use, of the bow drill and lathe, ship builders could more securely mate the plank edges of the ships hulls with locked mortise and tenon joinery by cutting round holes for the binding pegs using a drill and cutting the smoothly rounded sides of the pegs on the lathe to fit them snugly into the locking holes. This very strong wood joinery technique is still widely used today.
Large scale nail making comes from Roman times 2000 years ago. Any sizeable Roman fortress would have its 'fabrica' or workshop where the blacksmiths would fashion the metal items needed by the army. (They left behind 7 tons of nails at the fortress of Inchtuthil in Perthshire, England) It was the Romans who pioneered the use of iron nails in ship building. Roman nails had the benefit of four sharp edges on the shank which cut deep into timber and the tapered shank provided friction down its full length. The wood fibres would often swell if damp and bind round the nail making an extremely strong fixing.
Muhammad seems to have been well aware of the ships of his day as he mentions them a number of times in his Qur'an. These ships were probably Roman and would have been made with sawed wooden planks joined with iron nails. However, when Muhammad plagarized Biblical stories for his recitals, he had no way of knowing how ancient ships were built, or that the ark was probably a floating raft built with logs held together using yew ropes - with a large box built on it - rather than an actual boat, which is why he described Noah's ark as being built with planks and nails.

The Jews didn't corrupt any book. No god, allah or any other, "gave" the Jews a book in the first place. The Torah of the Jews is the first five books of the Bible. It consists of some creation tales/myths and some prehistory stories of certain tribes of people that lived in the Mediterranian region, including the Greeks, the Egyptians, the Hebrews, etc. as told from the Hebrews point of view, since they were the ones who finally recorded these stories after they developed an alphabet.
These stories and myths were "history" as they remembered it and had passed this information down from generation to generation. There is also a legal system they set up in order to establish a country. And they recorded some geneological stuff. That's it. Just some recorded history, some myths, some laws, and a bunch of so-and-so beget so-and-so.
No book sent down from heaven. No master copy hidden up yonder somewhere under the throne in the sky. And NO corruption of some gawd's special "book"
Muhammad, on the other hand, made stuff up as he went along - claiming he heard voices in his head which he said sometimes sounded like bells ringing. And one time Jibril, the apparition, road up to Muhammad when he was getting ready to take a bath after a big battle. And Jibril was on a big white donkey and he was sitting on an embroidered blanket on a saddle and he had an embroidered turban on his head and he told Muhammad that the Jews were against him so he should attack them first, and then he road away.
