Muslims' sickening habit of taking pleasure at every sufferings of the kafirs...
Here is latest chain message being circulated amongst Muslims:

This is the latest of sacred duties being circulated among the educated “Moderate Muslims”, while Japanese are passing through a very critical moment of their history and need humanistic approach towards them. Any human being who watches these video clips of devastating earthquakes on TV and Internet will definitely feel hurt. On the other hand the feelings are quite opposite in the mysterious world of Muslims. This tragic episode of Japan is a funny joke for them, brought upon the Japanese by the ‘most gracious and merciful Allah’.
Some of our readers among the “moderate” Muslims may claim that this may be the work of few mischievous ignorant Muslims. It isn’t, because this message is being actively circulated via cell-phones (and internet) among ‘educated’ moderate Muslims, and they feel it dutiful to pass on this message to their fellow Muslims over and over.
This is not the first time that this kind of mischief has occurred. Similar joyous messages are circulated among Muslims, whenever such calamities occur, like the devastation caused by ‘Katrina’ cyclone in USA, floods in Europe and Australia, Earthquakes in Haiti, Chile and Mexico etc. They haven’t spared their own Islamic countries like Pakistan, Iran and Indonesia, while they were hit by Tsunami and earthquakes, but on a different reasoning – that is, they were punished by Allah for not practicing Islam properly. In fact, the Muslims are eagerly waiting to witness such miseries to occur and to praise Allah for His ‘Gifts’ to the infidels and to the misguided Muslims. Though I am an atheist and pretend to be a Muslim (Not like to be killed as an apostate and wish to witness the eradication of Islam before dying) received these kinds of inhuman messages several time.
This kind of mischievous idea gets hatched in almost all the mosques by their Imams’, during the Friday sermons. Let us analyze first the back ground of these illiterate Imams, who fool hundreds of their audience. Usually in non-Arab Asian countries, the Imams come from the economically poor families and are, therefore, not well-educated because of their poverty. They were forced to be sent to Arabic Madrasas were they get free, but only the Islamic ‘Knowledge’ about deceiving, cutting and killing. After the completion of their ‘courses’, they get their job with a very poor salary, because a large number of such “Islamic scholars” graduate every year from Madrasas in Asian countries with few jobs available and the many of them can’t even get a job at the lowest salary. The so-called ‘Islamic scholars’ prefer to work in Muhammad’s sacred land (i.e. Saudi Arabia) and the “sacred country” offers them jobs of “unskilled” labourers. Surely the Arab knows about the meaning of ‘Islamic Scholars’ and the extent of their skill. I met such expatriates “learned” Aalims and Haafids (Islamic Scholars) working as unskilled labourers, cleaning toilets in Saudi Arabia.
These Imams (Toilet cleaners) are given high respect by fellow Muslims in their non-Arab home countries like India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Indonesia etc. They are paid from the contribution of Muslims of that locality. These Imams, employed on meagre salaries, show their gratitude to Allah by preaching Islam’s barbaric and superstitious ideas in prayer sermons, which he gained from Madrasas and holy Islamic texts. He explains to his audience, how Allah punishes the countries governed by the infidels and how Allah take revenge on those Muslim countries, which are not practicing the Hijaab, follow the Western culture, and not follow the Sunna and Sharia. By this way, the Imam pretends to show how the righteous Muslims are being protected by Allah.
And no intellectual, educated, moderate and liberal Muslim among the ‘HERD’ of Muslims listening to those sermons ever raises any intellectual question, objecting to his inhuman lecture. Not even once it happened. Because this is also Muhammad’s deceptive order to pious Muslims that they must not to talk or raise questions during sermons. They all listen to the illiterate Imams with highest devotion and digest his inhumane, unscientific and superstitious ideas like a herd of sheep. Even after coming out of the mosque upon hearing such sermons, nobody ever discusses his ugly ideas. If I ever try to raise doubts regarding it to the educated, liberal, moderate Muslims, they just avoid discussing it in detail in the fear that they may lose their Imaan (faith). And they don’t feel any embarrassment or shame by circulating these kinds of mischievous messages. Their intellect doesn’t allow them to raise any question on hearing the rubbish hadiths like, “One wing of a fly has a disease, and the other the cure. So dip it well in your drinks.” (Sahih Al-Bukhari 4:537)
The real culprits of Islam are the so-called silent majority of educated moderate Muslims, who has no guts to question their own paid servants, namely the Imams.

To aaki: I don’t understand why you are getting so worked up over the facts narrated by Mirza Ghalib. When 9/11 happened, what was the mood of muslims? The Palestinian muslims were celebrating it by chanting ‘Allau Akbar’ en masse and bursting crackers. In some other countries also (in India, for example), muslims staged mass demonstations shouting ‘Allahu Akbar’ and hurling abuses and curses at America and George Bush. It is on record. As Mirza Ghalib said, whenever some natural calamity occurred, the vast majority of muslims, irrespective of whether educated or uneducated, rejoiced in the devastation suffered by the non- muslims. Just because some tiny organization in the minuscule muslim community of Singapore, USA or UK took some initiative to raise a fund to aid the affected does not validate your claim that muslim organizations around the world were helping the people of Japan. At best, the tiny organizations who collected money were demonstrating to the majority of non- muslims around them that they are also sympathetic towards the victims of the calamity. What about the vast majority of the 1.5 billion strong muslims or the 57 so- called Islamic countries in helping the devastated people? What is their contribution or what they did? Saudi Arabia is spending billions and billions of US$ every year to build palatial mosques in America, Europe and the third world countries, but what is their record in helping the calamity stricken people or for that matter, the poor and needy even in muslim countries? In African muslim countries, poverty is rampant and people die of hunger in thousands. What do these oil- rich muslim countries do for them? The shaitan America is doing more than all these bloody oil- rich muslim countries put together. It is an irrefutable fact that the mainstream muslims are rejoicing when a tragedy strikes the non- muslims and these barbarians consider it as an act of demon Allah to punish the infidels.

Muslims revel at others' suffering because they are a failed society. Near the end of the artlcle it informs the readers that Muslims are not to ask or "raise questions during sermons...Even after coming out of the mosques upon hearing such sermons, nobody ever discusses his ugly ideas." This is because Islam cannot tolerate scrutiny. The reason for this is because the ideas, beliefs as wellas the foundations of islam are so weak that they can't stand up to criticism.

i'm an american of european decent. i have tried to read the koran, but it is to repetitive and rambling nonsense. it isn't even in chronilogical order ( why is that, to hide the true meaning?). it appears to me that muslems worship Mo more than god. he never prophisied any thing, what makes him a prophet? so many verses are abrogated, this god just can't make up his mind apparently. which tells me he is not a god at all. any insight would be appreciated.

The Qur'an just rambles on and on with ridiculous stories that have no moral value or point to them and bare no resemblance to anything in the Bible what-so-ever. For example, the stories of King Solomon according to the Qur'an:
The Qur'an states that Solomon's palace was paved with glass so that the floor looked like a pool of water and he is provided with "a spring flowing with molten brass" and jinn (genii) slaves to make "shrines and statues and basins as large as water-troughs" (Q. 34:11- 14).
Well, first of all, glass was a rare commodity in Solomon's day, circa 950 BCE (as precious as gold according to the Book of Job), and flat sheets of glass were not even available until around CE 100; brass does not flow from springs; and there are no such thing as jinn (geniis).

You chould check your numbers again. In Malaysia there are more than 12 million Muslims and it continue to grow, now at around 52% of the population. In Russia, many left for fear of persecution, but you probably know that. In the US, most 2nd generation tend to explore other religions, no different from Mulsims, but what you neglected to mention was that Islam in the US is in a growth path and has been for several years. You need to read that Surah in context with 1-29 not just cherry pick one or two words to try and makea false case. This set of Surahs were done at the time when the Romans and Byzantine Emperor were planning to attack the Muslims who were settled in and around Maan. This is was a directive to fight against the invaders whom many were pagans. They tried to infiltrate the Muslims by pretending to be their friends, even gong into the mosques. So it is not a Surah that directs Muslims to go out and find non-believers to fight, rather it is a guiding message to them to prepare themselves for the evil that is coming there way and that they will have to fiht off the enemy to defend themselves. Completely agree with you Lw1. Quran should be read in context. To my knowledge, all the rules in Quran were established based on incidents and contingencies that occured during that time. Hence, some are no longer relevant (out of context) to our modern society/life such as women's hair, slavery, poligamy, alcohol etc. However, I don't think this is what agreed by the religious scholars. That's why the punishment for apostacy for some Islam nations is still DEATH. Even modern multiracial country like Malaysia is under pressured by the religious scholars to have the apostacy law in the constitution to curb apostacy. I'm not too sure on this subject ,but weren't the Muslims the aggressors in this case? Didn't they even supposedly write the the Byzantine Emperor ,and he supposedly saw that Mohammed was predicted in the Bible(Mohammed is NOT predicted in the Bible btw.) Galileo was not convicted of heresy ,but of defying a Papal decree. This was done because he was going against the science of his day ,not because he was teaching something contrary to the Bible.In fact the whole mess was started not by the Catholic Church ,but by Galileo's scientist colleagues. It was science against science ,one set of science being based on pagan science sources (those who held to geocentrism) ,and the other based on a Bible believing scientist Galileo. In fact he was originally highly favored by the Catholic Church ,and Pope Paul V wouldn't even allow him to kneel in front of him as is usually done. The Dark Ages is a misnomer. In fact there was a great deal of scientific advance during this period. Water power ,wind power ,spectacles ,the stirrup ,magnificent architecture ,and the blast furnace were all developed in the so called "Dark Ages". During this time it was the Catholic Church that was specifically supporting these scientific advances. Christianity provided the basic framework necessary for modern science ,but it wasn't until the Reformation that it really took off. This happened ,because of a renewed interest in looking at the Bible. Once they recovered the historical grammatical approach to looking at the Bible science flourished. Once people started studying what the Bible actually said ,they then began studying nature for the way it actually worked. The Catholic Church helped preserve ancient texts rather than destroy them. Without Biblical presuppositions (such that this is an orderly universe that can be understood by us since we are made in the image of God) we wouldn't have modern science. Copernicus' idea was a little different than Aristarchus. Aristarchus believed that the sun was completely stationary I'm also saying that MODERN SCIENCE was founded on Biblical presuppositions. I never said that not one person before Christianity ever made any useful scientific discoveries. It wasn't until Christian Europe ,and people like Francis Bacon that science truly became what we know it to be today. In other cultures they didn't get past alchemy and astrology. Actually Catholic Churches were the centers of scientific research for quite a while. No one was ever burnt at the stake for scientific ideas.
