Interesting, but I'm not convinced it was Satanic influences that molded Islam. There is no need for Satan if Islam is a bizarre concoction of pre-Islamic Arab paganism and Abrahamic religions. This could have occurred organically and without need for any prophet. Islam was not born in the light of history, but was reshaped so, and there was likely no Muhammed. What saddens me is the suppression of so much other archeological data from those areas of the world. Mecca and Medina will never be subject to any proper scientific study, because the religious authorities are scared shitless of what they may find.
