How my experiences in Saudi Arabia, and, then, reading the Quran and biography of Muhammad opened by eyes about the barbaric cult, that Islam is.
ABOUT MYSELF
I am an Indian of 50 years old, nickname Mirza Ghalib, an ordinary Muslim. I was made to pray 5 times a day by my parents from the age of seven. There is a custom amongst all Muslims in India that every child should complete reading the “Arabic’ Quran, whether they understand it or not. I am one of them. The local Arabic teachers, a mullah, who taught us Arabic, knew nothing about its meaning. None of us has the time to read and investigate Islam in our own language. Whatever we know about Islam is from the bluffing of our imaams and mullahs, and we were afraid to raise any questions to these mullahs. Usually our mosques are run and mentored by the old-age illiterate, ignorant and lazy people, and those, who don’t want progress in their worldly life.
WRONG CONCEPT OF ISLAM IN INDIA
It is compulsory for the very young children of the pious Muslim families to pray 5 times a day and I’m amongst them. In Friday qutbaas (sermons), we were brain washed and made to believe that Muhammad was a kind, merciful, generous and divine person. With this thought, I have lived my 30 years as a true, innocent Muslim.
The only fortunate thing that happened during those 30 years of my life is: I have completed my engineering studies successfully. And, this has nothing to do with Islam. Instead, it was because of my neighbours, who were Hindus and Christians. They inspired me in my studies. Usually Indian Muslims prefers to live among their closed Muslim community, where most of them are illiterates. Knowingly or unknowingly, my parents made this “mistake” to live among the “unbelievers”, which enabled me to complete my studies and think about the religion in later days.
SAUDI ARABIA: A UNIQUE PART OF THE WORLD
In the year 1990 at the age of 30, I went to the sacred Islamic country, Saudi Arabia, with my family for a job as an engineer. This visit opened my eyes. My strong believes about Islam and my utmost respect toward Islamic Holy Land perished day after day in Saudi Arabia. Due to short space, it is not possible for me to explain here the terrible experiences that I and my fellow expatriates faced there; it needs at least 1000 pages to explain. Definitely I will write a book on my Saudi Arabian experiences in future.
MY ENLIGHTENMENT: THANKS TO MY SAUDI COLLEAGUES
Prior to my visit to Saudi Arabia, I was thinking myself as a perfect Muslim with praying 5 times a day and fasting 30 days in Ramadan. Actually, I was wrong. It was revealed to me by my Saudi Manager (a Muthawwa – religious person) and some of my Saudi colleagues that my activities were not Islamic, because I mingle with my Hindu and Christian colleagues, showed my sympathy toward them, shared my lunch with them, invited their families to my house and took my family to theirs, as usually I do in India as a normal human being. I was teased and torched by the Saudis’ for my every humanly act as “un-Islamic”, and they advised me to read the Quran and hadiths.
As I said, my parents taught me the Quran in “Arabic” at the age of 7, but without understanding the meaning of a single word. This is how we all Indian Muslims say, we “know” the Quran. I realised the fact for not being studied the Quran with meanings. So, in my very first vacation to India, I purchased the translations of the Quran in English, Urdu, Hindi and Tamil, which I can understand.
UNDERSTANDING ISLAM BY READING THE TRANSLATIONS
On my return to Saudi Arabia, I read these translations seriously. In the very beginning of 2nd sura (Al-Baqra), we are told, the perfect Muslim is he, who believes everything as it is in the Quran. This made me laugh; I felt that this Quran is not for a sane human being.
Then, I read the biography of Muhammad, which made me feel ashamed that I was the follower of him for the past 30 years without knowing the truth about him, because we were not taught the complete biography of him. In India, what we know about Muhammad is only the positive part of his “made-up” good stories. All negative part of his life—such his life as a pirate, about his number of wives (around 15), having sex with many captive girls, having sex with his wife’s maid Maria, claiming his rights to have sex with those married Muslim women, who were ready to offer them to him by their own will, banning the benevolent Arab custom of adoption to justify his marriage with the wife of his adopted son Zayd, his wars on innocent tribes and brutal killing of his opponents etc.—were censored.
Ninety-five percent of ignorant Indian Muslims doesn’t know the fact that Muhammad established himself as a king; instead they consider him as a poor, kind, noble, sufi and divine person.
About the large number of wives, we were told by our mullahs in India that all his wives were old-aged widows, and Muhammad’s intention of marriages with them is not for sexual pleasure, but to set an example to his followers to help the poor and helpless old women. Also we were told a lie about Muhammad that he ever had sex with these women except with his first wife Khadeeja.
MUHAMMAD’S GIFTS TO MEN AND DISCRIMINATIONS TO WOMEN
Anyway, when I have completed reading the Quran, I found the Quran is concoction of the Bible by a layman, with half-told biblical stories and repetitions of same stories for several times. (For your information I have read the bible several times during my schooling as I studied in a Christian missionary school).
Apart from biblical stories, Muhammad included verses for his unholy and inhumanly desires to become a king of Arabian Peninsula from a typical pirate of the desert. It clearly shows that Muhammad needed the help of his male followers to attack the neighbouring tribes and annex their territories into his regime. So, he bribed his male followers with lot of gifts, like 4 wives, countless slave girls for sex, permitting them to loot innocent tribes, and rape their women. He showed a special disregard, indeed hatred, toward his women followers as they were of no of use in succeeding his war missions. He mentioned the women as the dwellers of hell, he snatched their rights, which they enjoyed before embracing his cult, and he made their position as good as that of domestic animals, just to over-satisfy his male followers.
MISTRANSLATIONS OF QURAN
While reading the translations in different languages, I also found that there are interpolations in many indefensible verses. The translators were afraid to translate the actual meanings of those rubbish verses, as they were aware that the civilised societies will not accept Muhammad’s unholy concept of Islam. For example, the word “Khatl” is wrongly translated as “Fight”. Fight by what? Is it a verbal fight? Or ammunitional fight? Or legal fight? Or to kill? Which “Khatl” Muhammad was actually talking about? As far as I know, “KHATL” means “KILL” in Urdu, and you know Urdu is a collection of Arabic, Persian and Hindi languages.
Similarly, when I read the Urdu translation about the Hoor-E-Een (Sexy Virgins), it says that they won’t have physical body, but only in spiritual form. How can we expect the spiritual idea from Muhammad? So, when I asked the Saudi imaams about this, they said undoubtedly that this is the reward given to every male Muslim by Allah in paradise. Ok. When I asked the same Saudi mullahs about the rewards to the Muslim women in paradise, they warned me not to ask such a rubbish questions in favour of women and not to think much, which will weaken my imaan (faith). Of course, as a Muslim I should not use my brain.
INNOCENT AND IGNORANT MUSLIMS
After coming back to India, I explained about the real Quran and the real biography of Muhammad to my family members. Nobody is ready to hear anything odd about their holy book and their beloved prophet, as they are afraid that their imaan will be destroyed by hearing this. Nobody has shown any courage or interest to read the biography of Muhammad or the Quran in translations they understand. Still, they recite the “Arabic” Quran and paying salawaat (prayers) to Muhammad daily as usual. I wonder when the printers and mullahs are not afraid to print the biography of this Arabian bandit, how come his followers of our modern time are afraid to know the truth about him? Is there any hope to liberate these people from the bondage of Muhammad’s dangerous cult?
OUR MISSION MUST GO ON TILL EVERY MUSLIM FREED
In my opinion, any sane Muslim, who read the real biography of Muhammad (without taking the help from any mullah), will quit Islam forthwith. There are so many biographies of Muhammad available in India, out of which I prefer “Al-Raheeq Al-Maqdoom”, because this book won the first prize out of all biographies at Makka in the year 1979, and is written by an Indian author As-Shaikh Safiur Rahmaan in Arabic. It is translated in most of the Indian languages and is easily available in all Islamic bookstores. Although it is written by a Muslim scholar and approved by highly respected scholars of Makka, this will serve our purpose. As a part of my mission, I have purchased many copies of this book for presenting it to many of my fellow Muslims and insisting them to read it. I will continue to do so as a part of my mission in rescuing the worst, but otherwise innocent and ignorant, victims of Islam, i.e. Muslims.
MY DESIRE
Mr. M.A. KHAN, Mr. ALI SINA, and all other members, it is unbelievable for me that some great personalities like you from Muslim community has shown this extraordinary courage by putting yourselves in great danger in bulldozing this barbaric cult and doing an excellent job for entire humanity. I was waiting for the past 20 years for this unbelievable dream to come true. It is my humble request to you that if you can organise the apostates of Islam of each country to work jointly in well-organised manner, we will be able to do better in rescuing our fellow Muslims, who are the first and worst victims of their own beliefs.

I feel very ashamed that many people believe what is shown about Islam in the media. Most things said or written about Islam are false and if you say that muslim sources prove your accusations than if they claim to be MUSLIM they are not. Look at the grandson of Prophet Muhammed (p.b.u.h) Imam Hussien when he went out in the year 685 with all his family and friends who were 72 against the army of Ummayah with 100 thousand soldiers . All by himself his children, friends, brother and even his six month old child was killed all this for the sake of social justice! If his message was not pure his family would not have been killed and prisioned.By the way imam Hussien had Christians and people from different races that died with him. His message was TRUTH that is why he died!

To all those who accuse Islam of being a religion of Killing read the Quran properly and understand it. Never did Muslims kill without reason.The kofar never left Prophet Muhammed (p.b.u.h.) and his followers alone they continuously tortured and hurt them, these people had to defend themselves. You always speak about the Prophet in a wrong way never do you mention how the societies in Arabia were before Islam. At birth females were buried alive as they were considered shame. Islam and Prophet Muhammed stopped this. Islam made black and white equal. When the Muslims opened Mecca and defeated the kofar in one of the battles a Muslim stood , held the flag and said:" Today is the day of MALHAMA" meaning it is the day of killing the Kofar Imam Ali (a) the cousin of the Prophet and the husband of his daughter and the first Imam of the Shia took the flag from him and corrected him by saying:"Today is the day of MARHAMA meaning it is the day of mercy, the day when the people that killed and were against Muslims will be treated respectably as human beings. At another time when in one of the battles the Muslims captured prisoners Prophet Muhammed told his followers to free them and let them go. One of the prisoners was the grandfather of Yazid Ibn Muaawya who later killed the grandson of the Prophet Imam Hussien (a)( and that is another great story of dignity and justice). Where do you see people today like the Prophet, Imam Ali and Imam Hussien. People who forgive even when they were hurt. The West always fights Islam with women and their rights. Women in the West were not able to be divorced until the late 19th century Islam enabled women to be divorced in the 7th century. All you see is those people who bomb themselves on TV and claim to be Muslims, you don't read the story of the Prophet with his Jewish neighbour, do you? This neighbor always threw rubbish in front of the Prophets home and spoke about him in a bad way. One day the Prophet did not see him, the Prophet found out that the Jewish man was sick so the he went in to visit and see if he was well. After that the Jewish man became a muslim. This man was able to understand that Islam is the message of peace and you are still beleive the western media. Why doesn't the media show what Israel done to the children of Gaza? Why doesn't it show what the American soldiers done when entering Iraq? How they ripped and stepped on the Holy Quran ? Is that justice to you?

I feel sorry for the ordinary Muslim in India that did not find out any true facts about Islam. I would like to give you an advice why dont you read some shia sources ? I dont want to be racist but I am a shia and I have never heard of your false stories about the prophet. I was brought up learning about being a respectable Muslim that forgives when able and that does not lie and steal and do all other unfaithful acts. I was brought up learning about the great battle of Karbala that Imam Hussien was killed in. How he was still calling the army to peace and justice when being hit with rocks and arrows, how his six month child was killed between his hands so that a man like Yazid that kills and goes to prayer with an intoxicated brain from drinking does not rule Muslims. Imam Hussien was the pure message of Justice. Not because I am a shia even the great Indian leader Ghandi says this. Read about Ghandi and the revolution of Imam Hussien and you will know what I'm talking about.

All these things that Fatimah writes about Mohammed and his immams is no big deal. Thousands of other men have done good deeds and lived better lives than Mohammed; by not living like Mohammed!!! The main difference is they did not claim to be a prophet or to have revelations from God. Mohammed was just a hedonist who looked after number1. Why is it that Allah always approved of what he did and gave him the revelations to justify all his immoral and criminal acts? Just a coincidence? Why is there no sanctity of life and truth in Islam? Where is Thou shalt not kill and Thou shalt not bear false witness in the Koran? What about Thou shalt not covet? That also did not fit in with Mohammed's lifestyle did it? He got 20 per cent of the Jihad booty. What about Thou shalt not steal? Another word for slavery is man-stealing which is forbidden in the Old Testament. What about Thou shalt not commit adultery? I'm sure he did that too and many times in his life with all those wives and concubines. And the other things that Mohammed did that decent people don't talk about? So what did Mohammed do that wasn't to his own benefit or didn't satisfy his carnal desires?

That was a nice article. Keep it up. True means in quran needs to be explained to every pious muslim
and they need to think and ponder about it. If every enlightened muslim like you and me do it then the problem a the vast majority of people can be liberated.
There are many underground apostate groups in India (specifically in Mumbai and Hydrabad).
Ofcourse Ali Sina and M.A.Khan are our motivating icons !

Don't listen to the meaning of Quran from a Imam's mouth.
You read it yourself and you will understand.

"I have completed my engineering studies successfully. And, this has nothing to do with Islam. Instead, it was because of my neighbours, who were Hindus and Christians. It is hard to see unpleasant truths on things one thought of as the height of goodness and invested so much of one's life in it. It isn't only the truth of the information but the implication of it on one's life - not only about the implication for the future but also the implication of how one has spent one's life. Could it have been a waste? Have I lost so much of my life on something that false? It is not easy. If you push too hard it will be easier for people to shut you out instead of confronting something so destabilizing.
There won't be one way to reach everyone you care about. You have to have a sense of what a person can take at what rate.
Also what would be the healthy alternatives? People are able to handle alternatives much better than a void. Voids are scary. To see that you did not waste your life - perhaps see it as a process of growth. To see that no longer going on blind faith isn't something to be feared - you replace it with something healthy like to be able to think for your self.

3.To be divorced by him at the drop of a hat by just his proclaiming 3 times "I divorce you" and we not having the same right to divorce him?
4.Husband getting 72 perpetually virgin beautiful houris with big eyes and swelling bosoms in the paradise and we getting the same old husband and share him with the 72 voluptuous houris? (Believe me sisters; he will be so busy there with the lovely houris that the only time he will see you will be in the hallways when he is going from one houri’s room to another houri’s room).

They've found koranmanuscript without allah but simply HUWA wich means HE. I am worshiper of nature as Hindu. I worship human being also. Are you know that, what is the psycological effect on society. We hindu think before before raising hand against any creature including human. But the Islam strictly prohibited these type of worship so Islamist does not think before any any cruality including against human being. Very good example is halal. Fatima, from where did you get the information that girl babies were buried alive at the time of their birth in Arabia before Mohammed, as it was a shame for their families? Then how could Mohammed marry 15 women? I am sure you must have heard of Khadija Beewi, his first wife. She was a famous merchant in Mecca and was very influential and wealthy. Having heard of Mohammed as a reliable and upcoming youngman, she first appointed Mohammed as Accountant in her firm and later on married him. In fact, there started Mohammed's good fortune. During her life time, Mohammed dared not marry another woman, much less dilly- dallying or flirting with any maid. No other proof is needed to show the status women enjoyed in Arabian society prior to Mohammed's diktats.

I appreciate your sprit and strong faith towards islam. Unfortunately it is not for good cause. I am not astonished the way you responded to my article by your number of letters. Because it is the normal mentality of a ideal muslim. I too was the same until I read the biography of my beloved prophet.
Actually, in this fast age, nobody has the time to read and investigate the facts. On the other hand we waste our precious time by visiting churchs, temples and mosques and listening the false stories of god from priests and mullaas. Specially the muslims are the culprits of their own future by wasting their precious time on 5 times prayers a day. After making the atmost sacrifices in this world, what the women of islam gets at muhammad’s paradise? Nothing. Ofcourse, she will watch happily the affairs of her husband with 72 huries, 80,000 slave girls and 300 beautiful young boys (for homosex). Only the muslim women have this much courage to see this garbage. Because they were very well accustomed to watch their husbands games with the other 3 wives in this world.

Every religion preaches good as well as evil/not so good things & I mean every. Just because a person claims to be a muslim,it doesn't mean he/she follows each & every verse of the koran & is a fanatic. Every intellectual being has the power of reasoning & is more/less evolved than others . You should read "ghat of the only world"in which the muslim author confesses dat his mom built him a temple in his room. Education plays a major role but @ the same time if you're the kind of person who believes in what's taught without questioning it,then you're equal to an uneducated person. I've muslim friends who're tolerant of other religions & are very open minded- some don't believe in marriages,women wearing hijabs,etc & I study in the middle east. At the same time,I've christian friends who say their religion forbids them from dating non-christian guys & claim to be very holy but ultimately end up sleeping with muslims. Practicioners of the religion are better than the states eg:saudi,yemen,etc...Islam isn't as bad as the media's portrayed it thanks to the jihadis & islamic empires. The people have just taken it too seriously..

These religious minorities are their citizens, living there for centuries. I will give an example. Take Pakistan or Egypt. Pakistan literally wiped out Hindus and Sikhs. Population of Hindus has come down from 15% to less than 2%. Even the remaining ones face many hardships. Take the case of Coptic Christians in Egypt.
Their numbers are coming down fast and they face ruthless persecution.
In fact, like I said, in all Islamic countries religious minorities are suffering. Discrimination, violence and kidnapping of women are very common in these countries.
You say it teaches some good things. But if you look further you will find the truth. Islam divides humanity in to two. Muslims and Infidels. It says clearly that infidels should be forced to submit to authority of Allah. It explicitly tells Muslims not make friends from infidels. It gives permission to Muslims to deceive infidels.

What the hell is this? I referred to Islamic countries persecuting religious minorities.
These religious minorities are their citizens, living there for centuries. I will give an example. Take Pakistan or Egypt. Pakistan literally wiped out Hindus and Sikhs. Population of Hindus has come down from 15% to less than 2%. Even the remaining ones face many hardships. Take the case of Coptic Christians in Egypt.
Their numbers are coming down fast and they face ruthless persecution.
In fact, like I said, in all Islamic countries religious minorities are suffering. Discrimination, violence and kidnapping of women are very common in these countries.
You say it teaches some good things. But if you look further you will find the truth. Islam divides humanity in to two. Muslims and Infidels. It says clearly that infidels should be forced to submit to authority of Allah. It explicitly tells Muslims not make friends from infidels. It gives permission to Muslims to deceive infidels.
To understand Islam you should know few things and then you just have to look around for proof. It commands every Muslim to make religion is only for Allah. That is Islam should establish supremacy on this world. That is what Political Islam about.

Yes it says good things but you fail to see that those good things are for fellow Muslims only, not for infidels. It explicitly banishes infidels to Hell and says infidels burn in hell for ever. Islam equates infidels with animals. I can not give those verses but some people here can give those verse numbers.
Ii think you should know a bit about their founder, prophet, and then you should come to decision.

What happened to you? You have't replied. Well this website is an excellent one for learning about Islam. But I will suggest a better one. Better one means a simple one. There are no exhausting articles that you hate to read. Some times people hate reading.
So the website I suggest to you is thereligionofpeace.com. Articles there are very simple. Go to the menu and start reading about Islam. If you have some doubts you can always come back to here or go to faithfreedom.org.

Some muslims are good people -- but in being good people, they are bad muslims according to islam. Those good muslims must free themselves likeMirza Ghalib and M.A.Khan have done (great book, by the way Mr Khan - I recommend it to many people).
I think if any muslim who wanted to know the truth they should just read "The Life of Muhammed" by Ibn Ishaq, they would see that we kafirs are not telling lies. It is there in the official biography of Muhammed. He was a murderer, and he was not provoked. Like Mr. Khan says, those (supposedly evil) kafirs of Mecca and Medina allowed Muhammed to preach and insult them. Try doing that to the modern day residents of Mecca and Medina.
Islam is a dangerous religion. Dangerous not just for us kafirs, but it is dangerous for muslims too. Why is it that all over the world in non-muslim countries there is a much higher percentage of muslims in prison than the percentage of muslims in the surrounding society? Islam breeds criminality. It teaches muslims to disregard the law.
I also think that people need to know about the shameful history of slavery in Africa. Muslims were taking black people as slaves for 1400 years (slavery was only abolished in Saudia Arabia in 1962). People should read "The Legacy of Arab-Islam in Africa" (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Legacy...1851682732). That guy is sympathetic towards islam, but he says there is no getting away from the truth about the acceptance of slavery among muslims. He shows how the same historian wrote a history of christianity in Africa and wrote pages about the role of christians in the slave trade. When the same historian wrote a history of islam in Africa he only mentions slavery in a footnote and says he'd better not say any more about it. Yet the evidence is overwhelming. And black historians are now starting to face the truth that they can't just blame white christians for the hundreds of years of slavery in Africa.
The shocking thing is that muslims and muslims organizations reject the United Nations Declaration on Human Rights. Those muslim organizations only see muslims as humans and as having rights. There are muslim jurists who even in the 1960s were justifying slavery as being islamic (after all, Muhammed had slaves, and he is supposedly the perfect human being who all muslims should seek to be like).

For those who do not know. islam requires that all muslims lie to non muslims about islam.
Some of you might be surprised at that, but believe me, once you know whats really in the quran and hadiths, you will understand how depraved and how much of a liar, every single muslim is. I have not found a single muslim, either face to face, or on the internet, who did not intentionally lie to me, in the last 10 or so years, since i found out what islam really is.
