After a murderous jihad at Fort Hood or the Christmas day airplane bombing attempt, did you hear: "Of course, not all Muslims are bad?" That brings up the question of how do you even tell if a Muslim is bad? Or good?
First off, what is a Muslim? A Muslim is a person who follows the doctrine of Islam. When that same person, does something that does not follow the doctrine of Islam, they are not a Muslim. The common idea is that anyone who says that they are a Muslim has their every action and word dictated by Islam. Put another way, every Muslim is seen as perfect follower of Islam at all times and circumstances. However, the truth is that a "Muslim" is not always a Muslim. When they do not follow Islamic doctrine, they are no longer a Muslim, but are a kafir (non-Muslim).
Now, how do we know if a Muslim is good or bad? If they are following the Koran and the Sunna (the perfect example of Mohammed), they are a good Muslim. If they don't follow the doctrine, then they are not a Muslim. That means that from the stand point of Islam there is no such thing as a good or bad Muslim. You either are a Muslim or you are not. When anyone follows the Koran and the Sunna, they are Muslim. When anyone does not follow the doctrine of Islam then they are a kafir.
This means that a person called a Muslim has two modes of being-Muslim and kafir, or kafir-Muslim. The same person can be a Muslim in one moment and a kafir in the next.
What do kafirs mean by a good Muslim? Simple, the same way we judge all other people as good and bad-the Golden Rule. Do they follow the Golden Rule when they are with us? If so, then they are a good person.
Since the Koran and the Sunna do not have the Golden Rule, how are Muslims to treat us? Islamic doctrine lays out an alternative to the Golden Rule. Those who do not believe Mohammed are kafirs, and kafirs are treated differently from Muslims.
Islamic doctrine says a great deal about the kafir. Most of the Koran is about kafirs, 61%, only 39% is about Muslims. About 20% of the Hadith is about kafirs and 98% of the Sira is about kafirs. Mohammed was fixated on kafirs and annihilated every kafir by violence, exile or conversion. When Mohammed died, there was not a person alive in Arabia who would argue with him.
Mohammed's actions are pure Islam; therefore, annihilating kafirs and kafir culture is pure Islam. A Muslim has to be, in some way, in some form of action, eliminating kafirs and their world. The action against kafirs is jihad. There are four flavors of jihad and murder is only one. Deception, conversation, articles and TV appearances can be jihad of speech and writing. There is always the option of giving to an Islamic charity, since one of the Koranic uses of charity is jihad.
Every Muslim believes that all nonbelievers are kafirs. The Koran says that kafirs may be hated, plotted against, deceived, murdered, raped, enslaved, mocked and tortured. All of those actions are Islam and perfect doctrine. When a person is being a good Muslim, they are following Islam and that means that you are a kafir. Hate, deception, murder, mockery and torture are bad for kafirs, but good for Muslims.
Kafirs are pure other. Muslims treat other Muslims as brothers and sisters, but they can treat a kafir well or they can treat them as less than an animal. Islam has dualistic ethics, one set of rules for Muslims and another set of rules for kafirs. Dualism is bad. When a Muslim practices dualism, they are bad. There is no good in Islam for a kafir and therefore, there is no good in a Muslim for a kafir.
Does this mean that the Muslim at work is bad? Yes, when they are following the doctrine of Islam. Whenever they are not following Islam, that person can be as good as any other. It is not about people, but about doctrine. It is the doctrine of Islam to be bad to kafirs. When anyone is practicing Islam around a kafir they must be bad, since Mohammed was never good to kafirs.
Wait! What about the nice, pious Muslim at work? He is good, isn't he?
Is he nice because of the Golden Rule or is he practicing the Sunna of the charming Mohammed we find in the early Meccan days? Mohammed could be very polite with kafirs, however, if charm did not work, then other methods were used. Islam is a process of increasing force that can start out pleasantly.
We are left with an ethical confusion around any Muslim. They can seem pleasant, but nothing changes the fact that they see Mohammed as the perfect person to imitate. Nothing changes the fact that we are kafirs. Kafir is the worst word in the human language.
Whom are we to believe-the Muslim at work or Mohammed? Every Muslim wants to imitate Mohammed; every Muslim is a Mohammedan. The problem is that Mohammed annihilated every kafir he ever met. It was a process. The process started out nice and when nice did not work, it ended in annihilation of the kafir. In Islam, nice is the beginning of bad for the kafir.
So how do you tell if a nice Muslim is good or bad? From the kafir point-of-view, there is only the fact that a Muslim is following Mohammed's example. And that is bad, very bad.

It is simple common sense . Never, ever trust a practicing Moslem or a person who says that he is a Moslem - period. A practicing Moslem means - is like a BOMB ready to explode and kill you as and when the situation and opportunity available to the Moslem. This is happening all over the world, again and again and again and again and ......... There are hundreds of times Moslems killed nonmoslems/Hindus in INDIA - even during the recent past. Did anybody count the number of times Moslems exploded bombs in INDIA ?

An authentic Muslim is a person who takes his evil religion of Islam seriously. A so-called Muslim, who is a good person, isn't practicing the evil doctrine of Islam. Our job is to continue informing so-called Muslims who are good that they are not authentic Muslims. Once they learn to differentiate, they will no longer call themselves Muslims.

I see a problem with this approach. Once they learn to differentiate, it is entirely possible (probable?) they will, instead, study to better understand Mohammed's directives and become "real" Muslims. Then, of course, they will practice jihad and seek to kill or enslave us.
I think it is wiser to just not trust Muslims at all.

Beware, a socalled good muslim may mutate and become a bad muslim. Good muslim is the one who has subdued feelings and doesnot show up his real intent. He believes in taqiyya and waits for his time to strike. Good muslims are beneficieries of bad muslim's actions. Look out for the snare he lays for a nonmuslim. They cannot be convinced through logic or dialogue. All secular nations should declare islam as a cult and not to be allowed to practice in their land. If this cannot not become possible there should be international pressure on all islamic countries like Saudi Arabia to become secular and allow other religion ists to practice their faith. There is no other alternative.

I agree with what Bill has said in his article. a good muslim is a staunch follower of koran and Muhammad, on the other hand, who are less voilent and so called peace-maker muslims have no place for in Islam for them.

I am a MUSLIM SHIA and i want to tell you that I am so happy to follow the religion Islam and the Prophet Muhammed (p.b.u.h) and the Shia sect of Islam. just want to mention to you that the 'high divorce rate' (which, if i am not mistaken, hovers around 50% or so). i would su*gest that BECAUSE of america's freedoms, people are not required to maintain their marriage if it is unpleasant or dangerous.

The Critiques of the Bible and the Quran have sited some links between them but those links are purely sited out of ignorant or deliberate distortion of the facts and the substance of the matter. They said Yahweh ordered the killing of unbelievers in the Old Testament just like the Quran. Abraham committed incest with his sister Sarah by marrying her just like Mohammed committed incest by marrying his daughter in-law. David, Solomon married more than one wife just like Mohammed. I believe the understanding of these three scenarios sited above will be the key to understanding the Bible inspiration as against the Quran. The only link between the Bible and the Quran is in the area of faith in the oneness of God even at that the concept of trio unity of the Judeo-Christian God is alien to the Quran. Other faith related issues that appear similar are, resurrection of the dead, Satan, Angel, hell, heaven but again the Islamic hell and heaven differ greatly with the Judeo-Christian teaching on the subject but let agree that they all believe in the hereafter life which will be spent in the place of eternal suffering and torment or eternal bliss and happiness. It is because of these apparent similarities that made people to classify Islam as a religion in the class Judaism and Christianity but in actual facts it is not. It is a political system under the cover of religion.
Now let me address the misunderstanding of example of link between the Bible and Quran as sited above.
1. Killing in the Old Testament. The killing in the Bible are carried out By God Himself or at his instruction after he has proved himself to the children of Israel that He was the almighty God and beside him there was no god in Power and in Might. Besides those violence are time bound and to specific people for specific reasons. It is not the case with the Quran, the killing was not done by Allah but humans and no single proof that Allah was God almighty and the instruction to kill is open end till all in the world become Muslims.
2. Incest of Abraham. There was nothing like incest until God said incest was bad in his law. So the standard of morality is the law of God. For where there is no law there is no sin. Abraham’s action was before the law was given on mount Sinai more than 400 years later but the action of Mohammed was more than 2000 years after the law was given
3. Polygamy in the Old Testament. Marrying more than one wife was not approved by God. It was a disobedience to God Law but that did not mean that if one have right attitude towards his sins God will not use him like the case of David God still used him because he had repentant heart and right attitude toward God. None of this polygamist in the Bible or in our time will point at the scriptures that God gave them approval to do so. But in the case of the Quran Allah approve 4 wives and even more for the prophets. He even legalised prostitution where you can marry for one hour, two hours, a day a month even some years and divorce provided money exchange hands. What do you call this the civilised world (Prostitution).The Bible call any sexual relationship outside one wife adultery or fornication, Even lust in the heart other than your wife is counted act of adultery what more of 4 wives and unlimited slave girls that the Quran approves.
Therefore, based on this facts , no unbiased mind that will classify the Bible in the same level with the Quran in the matter of moral standard because these few instances that are quoted out of context.

Funny how he works, same tune everytime. Oh well I'm sure I'm not the only one who observes his 'non-observations'.
I see the problem going a good bit deeper, If a Muslim is observed acting like a human being, and actually interacting in a non-violent way with the rest of the world, he is a terriffic tool for the 'GOOD MUSLIMS'.
As it will be only a matter of time before the GOOD MUSLIMS take a member of his family hostage, and ask him to use his good name to do something that the GOOD MUSLIMS want.
I dont see any solution other than education, the regular folk need to be educated as to what being a GOOD MUSLIM is. So long as we keep buying their oil at the rate of 2 or 3 billion dollars a week, they can keep buying off public officials with Campaign Contributions. Buying large interests in Non Islamic Media outlets and buying weapons and ammunition, all the way from AK 47's to Nukes.
We need to get off the OIL and on to alternatives only then will we begin to starve this beast. Prior to Oil being discovered in the Middle-east Islam was dying, and not hurting much of anyone, the last 100 years of the Otoman empire was a sad joke. It is time to turn off the money and stop financing the murder, rape, enslavement and extortion of our children and grandchildren.

You still can believe whatever you believe but comparing a nation (U.S.) with an ideology is not fair. The U.S. is not absolute. The islam is. A nation allow itself to develop and if it's necessary it will change some laws or something like that. But an ideology that's absolute, even if you know some details are very wrong, you can't change them. If a muslim wants to enlighten islam, he must become a non-muslim in order to do that. Conclusion: islam=jail. You can't do anything exept accepting the backwardness of the 7th centurie desert. Shia Muslima, you say you have posted before and have doubts all your posts are being posted here and you spell the name Hussein as Hussien. This makes me think you are the same as Fathima, also a Shia Muslima.

I don’t know about how well and how long families function in both Democratic and Islamic countries, but researchers found that the happiest people live in Denmark, the happiest children live in Holland, and these countries are followed in happiness and also prosperity by a lot of Western countries and Japan, and in general a clear advantage of free democratic countries can be seen over unfree Islamic societies.
About the poverty line; the poverty figures of the USA are measured every year and now stand at approx. 12,5-15 % poor people, while the rest of the 305 million Americans are either reasonably well off or rich. And this while America attracts many poor people every year too!!! Why do you think these poor people flock to America in vast numbers anyway?
Only other Western countries + a few tiny Islamic or other countries are per capita as wealthy as America. Certainly virtually ALL the Islamic countries are per capita much, much poorer. How can you not see the blatant lies in the mosques in this respect?
About violent deaths in America; 1 in 200 Americans in their whole life has a chance to get murdered. A much better rate than all peoples in the past had and still a considerably better rate than the Eastern European and African countries. About the Islamic countries no reliable statistics yet exist, as the UN tells us.
And even if what I say is not proven, it certainly is not proven either that Islamic countries perform any better than Democratic ones in respect to: Violence and rape.

Do they do this because of imam hoessein who was murdered or do they this because they did it before even muhammad was born? Ashura was already there before Muhammad and they used not to fast on this day. See the hadith! They lied to you about this. They do not do this because of imam Hoessein, but they used his death, so you wouldn't know what the real reason is. It's because of an other God, so he would bring life to earth again...it's a paganistic ritual.

The only good muslim is a dead one. Christianity at least had the decency to stop killing people. The Bible is only slightly less violent and disturbing than the Koran. Any way this is to do with the shia beating themselves many of the shia scholars including Ayyat Allah Sayyed Mohsan Al- Amine made a fatwa stating such doings were forbidden why do you only take certain perspectives of Islamic scholars and claim it all to be Islam?

Face it, this is a political movement that got religion one hundred years after the fact and trumped up a legendary figure to support the Abbassid dynasty. They created the Koran, Hadiths and Sira and fashioned Mo in their own barbaric image.
