I dont see difference between the translation you quoted and the one in the above article. More than 25 translations are available, there are smaller differnces. Non muslim translators translate a lote more accrately than the muslim translators.Only a muslim nut thinks that the translation he has is the only one which exists.

Tirana, you are right. The story fits perfectly with so many ayas in Quran indicating Mohammed's obsession with sex. When there are at least five other ayas where Allah seems so excited in Mohammed having extra- marital why is it surprising that 66.1 is not about Allah telling mohammed the same? Judging from Quran and hadiths honey does not excite Allah, sex does (He even assigns two angels to watch every woman's private part, a hidith). Why would Allah give a damn whether Mohammed ate honey or abstained from it. Indeed We know what We have enjoined upon them about their wives and those (captives or slaves) whom their right hands possess, - in order that there should be no difficulty on you.
