Those, who study the Islamic scriptures with open mind, would never fail to call to question the mental caliber of educated Muslims, particularly of Islamic scholars, as to how they could accept the extreme level of lunacy of their scriptures? Do they really accept such absurdities or are simply ignorant of their scriptures? Here is one such lunacy that I recently came across from the hadiths.
EXPIATION FOR 7 DAYS’ SINS IS DAILY FIVE PRAYERS FOR ONE WEEK
A few hadiths state that sins commuted by a Muslim in one week can be expiated by his offering of five prayers a day from Friday to Friday:
- Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said: Five prayers and from one Friday prayer to (the next) Friday prayer is an expiation (of the sins committed in between their intervals) if major sins are not committed. (Sahih Muslim/ Book 2/ Hadith 448)
- Abu Huraira reported that the Messenger of Allah (way peace be upon him) said: Five prayers and one Friday prayer to (the next) Friday prayer are expiatious (for the sins committed in the intervals) between them. (Sahih Muslim/ Book 2/ Hadith 449)
EXPIATION OF 10 DAYS’ (7 DAYS + BONUS 3 DAYS) SINS FOR DAILY FIVE PRAYERS FOR 1 WEEK
Again few other hadiths from the same Sahi Muslim collection say that Allah will forgive the sins of 3 additional days for the same amount of prayers:
- Abu-Huraira reported Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) as saying: He who took a bath and then came for Jumu'a prayer and then prayed what was fixed for him, then kept silence till the Imam finished the sermon, and then prayed along with him, his sins between that time and the next Friday would be forgiven, and even of three days more. (Sahih Muslim/ Book 4/ Hadith 1867)
- Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: He who performed ablution well, then came to Friday prayer, listened (to the sermon), kept silence all (his sins) between that time and the next Friday would be forgiven with three days extra, and he who touched pebbles caused an interruption. (Sahih Muslim/ Book 4/ Hadith 1868)
We are not allowed to ask question about this contradictory statement of our all-knowing prophet, because the Quran says:
"Believers! Do not ask questions about things which if made plain and declared to you, may vex you, causing you trouble. Some people before you did ask such questions, and on that account they lost their faith and became disbelievers." (Qur'an 5:101 - 102)
EXPIATION OF ONE YEAR’S SINS BY ONE YEAR-LONG PRAYING!
The author of Sahih Muslims adopts the techniques of his mentor Muhammad, and finally he put the year-long burden of daily 5 prayers on poor Muslims.
Abu Huraira reported: Verily the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said: Five (daily) prayers and from one Friday prayer to the (next) Friday prayer, and from Ramadhan to Ramadhan are expiatious for the (sins) committed in between (their intervals) provided one shuns the major sins. (Sahih Muslim/ Book 2/ Hadith 450)
EXPIATION OF YOUR 7 DAYS’ SINS IS FRIDAY PRAYER ALONE (WELL, NO NEED TO PRAY ON OTHER 6 DAYS OF THE WEEK?)
It seems that the author of Sahih Al-Bukari is more generous toward ordinary Muslims than the author of Sahih Muslim. He understood the burden daily five times praying puts upon the poor Muslims and came to their rescue. He gave us the quotes from the same ‘incredible’ prophet of Allah, saying Allah will forgive 7 days sins (Friday to Friday) of a Muslim if he offers only congregational Friday noon prayer (Ju’ma) alone.
- Narrated Salman-Al-Farsi: The Prophet (p.b.u.h) said, "Whoever takes a bath on Friday, purifies himself as much as he can, then uses his (hair) oil or perfumes himself with the scent of his house, then proceeds (for the Jumua prayer) and does not separate two persons sitting together (in the mosque), then prays as much as (Allah has) written for him and then remains silent while the Imam is delivering the Khutba, his sins in-between the present and the last Friday would be forgiven." (Sahih Al-Bukhari/ Vol 2/ Book 13/ hadith 8)
- Narrated Salman Al-Farsi: Allah's Apostle (p.b.u.h) said, "Anyone who takes a bath on Friday and cleans himself as much as he can and puts oil (on his hair) or scents himself; and then proceeds for the prayer and does not force his way between two persons (assembled in the mosque for the Friday prayer), and prays as much as is written for him and remains quiet when the Imam delivers the Khutba, all his sins in between the present and the last Friday will be forgiven." (Sahih Al-Bukhari/ Vol 2/ Book 13/ hadith 33)
And Muslims, especially of non-Arab countries, seems to know this fact, and the majority of them only say the Friday noon prayer only.
ALLAH PUTS A SEAL MARK ON THE HEARTS OF THE ABSENTIES OF FRIDAY PRAYER
Abu Dawud, another author of the authentic Six hadith collections (sahih Siththa) accepted by all Sunni ‘scholars’ of Islam, takes another severe step by quoting the beloved prophet of Islam that Allah becomes furious with those who skips the Friday congregational prayer and will imprint a mark on their hearts for identification. And the author of Sahih Muslim agrees:
- Narrated Al-Ja'd ad-Damri: The Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) said: He who leaves the Friday prayer (continuously) for three Friday on account of slackness, Allah will print a stamp on his heart. (Abu Dawud/ book 3/ Hadith 1047)
- Abdullah b. Umar and Abu Huraira said that they heard Allah's Messenger (way peace be upon him) say on the planks of his pulpit: People most cease to neglect the Friday prayer or Allah will seal their hearts and then they will be among the negligent. (Sahih Muslim/ Book 4/ Hadith 1882)
SURPRISE! SURPRISE!! MERCIFUL ALLAH OFFERS WAY OUT TO THE ABSENTEES OF FRIDAY PRAYER
Surprisingly enough, Allah the Merciful, now removes the sins that Muslims commit by willingly keeping themselves absent from Friday congregational prayers by offering a meal or half as alms:
Narrated Samurah ibn Jundub: The Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) said: If anyone omits the Friday prayer without excuse, he must give a dinar in alms, or if he does not have as much, then half a dinar. (Abu Dawud/ book 3/ Hadith 1048)
POOR MUHAMMAD! HE FINALLY GAVE UP ON ADAMANT COMPANIONS WHO DOESN’T LIKE TO PRAY
Expiation of the gravest sin of avoiding the Friday congregational prayer by offering just a meal or half as alms?
What makes Allah to lower his voice all of a sudden towards his slaves? What happen to the seal that He imprinted on the hearts of the Friday prayer absentees? What happen to the expiration of the 7 days sin & the bonus expiation of the 3 days sins? Is it possible that all the sins of Muslims would wash away by giving half dinner as alms? What then is the purpose of prayers and other Islamic rituals? What’s going on in Islam?
The answer is crystal clear. There is nothing spiritual in Islam, no rituality in prayers. Islam and its rituals are purely political. Muhammad, who wanted to conquer the Arab Peninsula, needed his soldiers (companions) to do ‘military’ training (prayers) daily in his presence, which also secured his personal security. He gave highest importance to his weekly gathering (i.e. his Friday declarations in the noon prayer). So, he compelled those from his companions, who stay miles away from his mosque (house) in Medina, to attend his mosque cum residence at Medina, and to take his military orders (Khutba speech).
- Narrated Aisha: (the wife of the Prophet) The people used to come from their abodes and from Al-'Awali (i.e. outskirts of Medina up to a distance of four miles or more from Medina). They used to pass through dust and used to be drenched with sweat and covered with dust; so sweat used to trickle from them. One of them came to Allah's Apostle who was in my house. The Prophet said to him, "I wish that you keep yourself clean on this day of yours (i.e. take a bath)." (Sahih Al-Bukhari/ vol 2/ Book 13/ Hadith 25)
- Narrated Abu 'Abs: I heard the Prophet saying, "Anyone whose feet are covered with dust in Allah's cause, shall be saved by Allah from the Hell-Fire." (Sahih Al-Bukhari/ vol 2/ Book 13/ Hadith 30)
The scared, polite and submissive companions of him used to attend his Medina mosque on Fridays. The bold ones, and also probably the ones whose residences were far away from his Medina mosque, absented themselves from attending even the Friday prayer at his mosque. Being harsh with them could make Muhammad lose their ‘services’ (i.e. taking part in his plundering raids on ‘infidels’), which wanted to avoid at any cost. In order to resolve the difficulty, Muhammad (Allah)—who earlier put utmost importance on the Friday congregational prayer—now decided to offer them an exception, and gave the absentees the option of giving a dinner or half as alms to poor Muslims. Muhammad could send poor disciple to absentee Muslim’s house for dinner to convey his military orders as well. In doing so, Allah completely absolved well-off Muslims, who don’t like the burden of prayers, of the responsibility of praying. A Muslim can just offer one dinner as alms to wipe off all his sins that he commits by not praying at all for one whole week!
In sum, it is better for a Muslim man to be a five times a day mosque attendee. If he doesn’t like that, it is good to be a Friday noon prayer attendee. If he doesn’t like that too, it is perfectly fine to be a non-praying Muslim, but should have regular communication with his other male followers. Doesn’t this sound political? Islamic scriptures are filled with these types of supposedly “spiritual” doctrines.
CONCLUSION
Muhammad was not an ordinary politician. He was an evil genius, and a precursor of great evil and criminality in history. My Muslim brothers! Before banging your heads five times a day, please spend some time to study our scriptures to know and understand what Islam truly is. You will be stunned by level of absurdities that fill our scriptures. O Allah! Give hidayah (guidance) to my Muslim brethren!!
