A Quest to Find the 73rd Sect of Islam

- Today , about every sane and knowledgeable muslim is in grave dilemma that whether his sect is righteous one? Whether his prayers will be accepted? Whether he will be going to paradise or not?
The reason of Muslim’s anxiety lies in this famous and oft quoted hadith, collected by Abu Dawud.
Abdullah bin Amar (RA) relates that the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) said "Surely things will happen to my people as happened earlier to Israelites, they will resemble each other like one shoe in a pair resembles the other to the extent that if anyone among the Israelites has openly committed adultery to his mother there will be some who will do this in my Ummah as well, verily the Israelites were divided into 72 sections but my people will be divided into 73 sections, all of them will be in the fire except one." The companions asked, 'Who are they O Messenger of Allah,' Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "They are those who will be like me and my companions."
This is also present in Ibn Maja. Other than Tirmidhi, Ibne Maja gives three independent narrations of the same hadith. Talking about the authenticity of this hadith Abu Mansur Abd al-Kahir ibn-Tahir Al-Baghdadi [4] says:
"There are many isnad (independent testimonies) for the tradition dealing with the division of the community. A number of following companions have handed it down as coming from the Prophet (peace be upon him): Anas ibn-Malik, Abu-Hurairah, Abu-l-Darda, Jabir, Abu-Sa'id al-Khidri, Ubai ibn-Ka'b, Abd-Allah ibn-Amr ibn-al-'As, abu-Imamah, Wathilah ibn-al-Aska' and others. It is also handed down that the pious Caliphs mentioned that the community would be divided after them, that one sect only would save itself, and the rest of them would be given to error in this world, and to destruction in the next."

Mohammed said clearly that there would be 73 sects and only one would be righteous and only one will go to paradise. Now problem is that every sect claims to be right. The common discussion and debates which muslim students use to do in their collages and university are about the sects and “real islam”.
But no one can find that hind real islam and hidden 73th sect of Mohammed which is having no flaw and controversy . A simple and ridiculous answer that imam gives is that you should read quran and hadith and find the sect . but our whole life will be ruined if we start checking every sect of islam. And it is not possible. And a question arises that why did allah is pushing us in such a ordeal to find a true sect among 72 sects?
People living in non kafir lands are actually unaware about the controversies and grave differences among the sects. About each and every above mentioned sect is saying other kafir. It is impossible to remove differences among the shia’s and sunnis. Koran and hadith is full of confusions. Today two friends of mine were debate with each other that whether mohammed was a man or a “noor” a light made from the light of allah. Modren muslims blaming FFI and islam watch as”hate sites” should check these sites and compare the hate at ffi with the hate among these two groups of muslims.

Islam is such a destructive virus that wants to destroy world and then latter commit suicide itself. Muslims want to conquer the whole world but after killing each and every non muslim they will start killing each other and soon the whole race of human beings will vanish from planet earth.
Now lets do some calculations.
Out of 6.7 billion totally population muslims are 21% about 1.2 billion. Among them according to hadith are 73 sects. Only one is righteous. Lets assume that sunni islam is real islam. Neglecting all others. But still it is divided in many parts.
Berailvis , deobandis , wahabis, najadis, salafis and many others.
Was allah damned fool who make such an infinite universe where earth Is like a tinny particle of sand in a vast sahara desert for only little group of people. And whole paradise stuff only for a tinny minority.
I am ex muslim not due to the fact that mohammed was a pedophile ,looter ,abuser and deceiver. But the reason of my apostasy lies in the fact that islam is full of confusion. It is not a practicable religion. It have a lot of sects. Muslims hate each other due to these sects. Even brothers kill each other due to these controversies in islam. Allah is a confusing and deceiving god. He never shows the right path. Mohammed said there would be 73 sects and died but muslims are still killing each other in the name of these sects.mosques are being burnt by muslims of other sects.i think muslims students are lagging behind science only because they always debate on sects in their classrooms .

No one can find the “real islam”. If he thinks that he has found then contact me. I will show him that his phase of islam is wrong too. His namaz is not according to mohammed and hadiths. His deeds are not acceptable to allah.

I fully agree with you Amar. Islamic societies are extremely divided. Unlike what Muslims like go about tom toming, the various sects hate each other like hell. Each one of them believes that the others will go to hell. Infact these days in India there is a lot of infighting going between the Tabliqess and the Sunnis. The Sunnis who are famous for the sending salams to the rotten corpse of Muhamad as opposed tooth and nail by the Tabliqees. The Ahle Hadess are against the Barelvis, the Deobandis hate the Salafis, etc. However we must not forget that these alliacnces are temporary, the new movemnet in the world of Islam is to join hands to do away with Kufr. If the Muslims do achieve this objective their next target would be the opposing sects. We would witness mass killings of Shiee by the Sunnis. The Wahabis would start killing the Shfiates and so on. Just because noone is a good enough Muslim. Islam is presented as a simplistic religion when it is actually so complicated that even the most pious get confused.

Continum, what is your problem? The fact that you know about about the personality of Muhamad, is due to the fact that you visit sites like Islam Watch and FFI. Noone would have paid attention to what others had to say as long as the information came from sources who were never Muslim. We people try to bring out the truth and you chide us by calling us names. Dear whoever that was, I have been reading about Muhammad from many sources even before coming to your websites. After that I have been reading Ali Sina's website for a while. Even there I have come across posts resembling this one made by ex-muslims quite often that Muhammad's character did not bother them. This is NOT based on single post made here. I made a similar statement in FFI as well after seeing continuously comments made like this one by ex-muslims. So I am TRULY and HONESTLY horrified to hear such views. How can anyone simply block out such vile characteristics such as that of Muhammad and say that this did NOT bother them ? This is my honest question and NOT a personal attack on anybody here. I apologize if I hurt anybody. I am NOT trying to present myself as anybody here. It does not matter who I am.

Before visiting FFI and Islam watch, I first visited Answering Islam in my quest for knowledge.One gentleman named Silas has written some very good articles on Islam and Mohammed.However my interest soon waned because it was a christian site and I thought they were biased. It was only after visiting FFI and IW that I was convinced, because the information was given by Ex Muslims.I was fascinated.It was too good to be true.Anyway back to this nice article by Amar.Islam is cannabalistic.This great religion of peace has a long task ahead. First they have to finish off the Kaffirs, then it will be a free for all among themselves to prove which is the true sect till the last man standing on this earth.

Dear Mr. Amar Khan, the truth is that not one of the Islamic sects is infallible, not even the so-called sect that paedophile, slave owner, murderer, child molester, lecher, wife beater, depraved Muhammad referred to. They're all wrong. For the "sect" that Hammy spoke about to be infallible, it would have to be protected by an Almighty God. Furthermore, the spokesman, or leader, for this sect would have to be infallible in the area of faith and morals, the two ingredients that are necessary for salvation. Where is that infallible spokesman in the Islamic sect? There isn't one. The truth is that all Muslim sects are subject to err. We can readily deduce that at least 72 sects are fallible because they all contradict each other in faith and morals. Since the "73rd" sect changes with time in faith and morals, we can deduce that this sect is also fallible. In order for a religion to be true, it must be protected by an Almighty God. Also, the religion would have to remain constant in faith and morals. Not one of the Islamic sects has remained constant in faith and morals. They all change with the weather, or different moods of individuals. Of course it leaves the adherents of Islam very confused. I feel sorry for them. But does this mean that all Muslims are lost? No, of course not. When a Muslim is trying to the best of his ability to please God, he can be saved. God isn't cruel. He doesn't condemn anyone who is trying to please Him. If the subject, the adherent, is following his conscience to the best of his ability, then that person can be saved. But there lies the rub. Are the evil Muslims who go on a killing spree trying to please God? I don't think so. I cannot believe that a sincere conscience can go that astray and remain blameless, unless, perhaps if the subject is insane. But are the evil Muslims who go on a killing spree, or on a rampage raping women following the dictates of their conscience? I don't think so. I believe they are going contrary to the dictates of their conscience. If they are, then, those persons are displeasing their Creator. It is those who commit atrocities, and knowingly act contrary to their conscience that are in grave danger of losing their souls. Are you trying to do the right thing? I believe you are. So don't worry if you are trying to do the best you can. By now, you are wondering about my religion. I'm a harmless Catholic unless I'm attacked. P.S. Incidentally, thank you for your excellent letter. P.S.S. I believe that Muhammad was clever. He understood that with time the Islamic "religion" would split into different sects. The seed of division is planted right from the very beginning even among Muslims themselves. It means if Islam attains its objective of world domination (which is unlikely of course) Muslims will fight among themselves to prove who is the true Muslim.
