APPEAL TO MY COMMON MUSLIM BRETHREN
In these series of articles, I wish to scrutinize the authenticity of some of the day-to-day practices, which common Muslims follow with utmost devotion. Islam’s deceiving concept of Taqiyya has made it a very complicated matter to understand for what it truly is. Islamic literature is piled up with numerous ancient books, written in different ages according to the taste of the Islamic rulers of the time. By carefully studying these books, one can easily come to conclusion that the term ‘ISLAM’ is not about any divine religion, but absolutely a dangerous political tool for terrorizing the common people to suppression and subjugation so as to rule over them.
Studying Islam deeply and with an analytical mind is not an easy task. It requires heavy sacrifice and hardship on part of the authors to prepare themselves for writing books and articles on Islam. Honestly, I have spent more than 23 years in studying Islam, which still continues.
We, the common Muslims, have no interest in spending time to study this subject. Instead, we spend at least 2 hours in Mosques every Friday. I appeal to my Muslim brethren to spend a part of those two hours on studying Islam on a regular basis, instead of going to Mosques only. I’m not advising you to read books on Islam, written by infidels. Instead, read first the Quran, Hadith and Prophet’s Sira in a language you understand. By doing so, you are not going to sin against your Allah, because it will only help you understand what Islam truly is.
So far, you have spent lots of your valuable time on attending Mosques. Now, please start spending a fraction of that to study your scriptures to understand it correctly. If you do this sincerely for some time, you will surely gain a better understanding of your religion, and take responsible and enlightened steps about your faith. It may be possible that you will be freed from all unnecessary burdens of your belief, and spend those valuable time and resources to improve your life. This is a bit of a challenge in front of you and it is up to you to take it up or let go. But remember, even if you want to attain Allah’s salvation, it is essential for you understand what Islam want to you do and commit yourself accordingly. For that, you have to study Islam yourself, not just listen to the Imams, who will say every lie to secure their livelihood.
And in case, you read our articles, please make sure to verify the authenticity of the sources that we quote in our books and articles, from the internet and original Islamic books in your collection, before making up your mind. That is the only way for you to be certain about whether or not have we been honest in writing those books and articles.
THE FIVE PILLARS ISLAM STANDS ON
The next few parts of this series of articles will discuss about the five pillars of Islam that Muslims are bound to adopt in their day-to-day life. We were taught from our childhood about Islam’s five pillars. No Muslim has ever crossed his childhood without memorizing Islam’s five pillars of Islam and six principles (Kalimas) – of course in Arabic. Prior to carefully studying Islam by myself, I used to think that the five pillars and the six Kalimas were mentioned in the Quran. But they aren’t. Then who spoke these pure Arabic verses (kalmias) similar to those of the Quran? If it is from Muhammad, then who taught it to an illiterate Prophet? If Jibreel taught it to Muhammad, then why these most important verses of Islam were not made part of the Quran, although the Quran recorded the verses on Muhammad’s lust and desires. (Sura Al-Ahza’b 33:3-38, 50).
The Prophet of Islam said, Islam is based on the following five principles/pillars (Sahih Al-Bukhari/ Vol 1:7),
1) SHAHADA - To believe in Allah & Muhammad,
2) Offering five prayers a day,
3) Fasting in the Arabic month of Ramadan,
4) Paying Zakat, and
5) Hajj pilgrimage to Makka.
WE MUSLIMS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO THINK, BUT INDOCTRINATED AT OUR CHILDHOOD
My siblings and I had completed our Quranic education when we were around 7 to 9 years old. We were given parallel basic Islamic teachings by our Islamic teachers. We were afraid of our Arabic teachers as they always had a cane in hand. They indoctrinated with memorization of the Arabic quotes, such as the ‘Kalimas’. None of us were daring enough to raise our doubts, but to memorize whatever they taught. Our parents felt so proud of us, when we chanted those kalimas in the presence of guests to our house. That is how our Muslim children grow.
The following lines from an Islamic site confirms my claim that our Muslim children are forced to memorize something, which they don’t understand and even don’t know who invented these verses similar to Quranic Arabic:
The 6 (six) Kalimas are recorded in various books of knowledge, and are recited (and remembered) by people across the globe.
These kalimas were compiled together for children to memorize and learn the basic fundamentals of a Muslim's beliefs. They are not found altogether complete in any one hadith or narration from the Prophet (peace be upon him). OUR IGNORANCE IS SO GREAT THAT WE HAVE BEEN DECIEVED CONSTANTLY FOR 14 CENTURIES
We, the educated moderate Muslims, are ‘educated’ only for the name-sake. How many of us have spent our time to read the translations of the Quran ‘cover to cover’, even once in our life time, especially when we claim that the Quran is complete guide to our life? How many of us read Muhammad’s authentic biography and the authentic hadiths collections once in our life-time? Without knowing and understanding fully about Islam by ourselves, we have been supporting the killers, who killed many innocents on silly issues like drawing a cartoon of the Muhammad based on his questionable character, even though Islamic scriptures itself proclaims that our ‘beloved’ Prophet as the “fat dwarf” (Abu Dawud 40:4731). We destroy hundreds of human lives just at hearing the news that someone will burn copy of the Quran, which actually has nothing good in it to enrich and improve our life.
Was drawing a cartoon or burning a copy of the Quran, which you can easily print with a little bit money, deserve destroying dozens to hundreds of human lives? Is it fair to kill our fellow human beings for drawing a picture of a man, who lived 14 centuries ago, without doing a careful study about him? This kind of irresponsible behavior of our fellow Muslims overt he past two decades have forced non-Muslims to study and scrutinize Islam. Even now, we, the secular Muslims, are least bothered about looking into our scriptures and understand our religion, as if we are sworn not to know our beloved religion. We rather prefer listening to the misinterpreted, sugar-coated lectures from our Mullahs. Unless we study Islam ourselves and make up our minds accordingly, we will be culpable for the future killings of our fellow innocent human beings. We will be blamed by our future generations for supporting these crimes unknowingly.
Let us continue exploring Islam and try to know the facts that our mullahs have conveniently forgot to inform us.
ASTONISHING FACT: FIVE PILLARS ARE NOT MENTIONED EVEN ONCE IN THE QURAN
In Islam the Quran considered as supreme book in which Allah – our God – discussed each and every problem of the entire humanity, which it may face till the day of Qayamat (Doom). Muhammad – the real author of the Quran – has brought nothing new, but the plagiarized stories and logics from the contemporary religions. The Quran has numerous, repeated, half-told stories plagiarized from the Old Testament (Torah) and written intentionally by jumbling up the stories to confuse the reader. For this reason, we are trained to read the Quran in un-understandable old Arabic and are told not to read the Jewish and Christian’s scriptures. Even the so-called ‘scholars’ of Islam too dispute on various issues among themselves. Each group disqualifies the other groups as not being true Muslims.
It is very hard to believe that the most important five basic principles of Islam are not mentioned at all in the Quran. Neither Allah, nor Muhammad, was least bothered about recording the five basic principles of Islam in the Quran. Once Muhammad attained his goal – the throne of Arabia – he even ignored to compile his allegedly divine Quran into a book form, which actually helped him ascended the throne of Arabia. It was the courtesy of Umar – who wanted to terrorize his poor subjects with its teachings – started compiling the Quran into a book. (Sahih Al-Bukhari/ Vol 6:509). Even Muhammad might have not even known about these five pillars. These 5 principles could well have been invented by Muhammad’s ‘well-trained’ successors – ‘The Rightly Guided Caliphs’ – after his death, to keep alive their political legacy.
1) SHAHADA (TESTIMONY) – THE FIRST PILLAR OF ISLAM
According to traditional Sunni Islam, in order for a person to become Muslim he/she must confess the following:
“Ashhadu an la ilaha illa 'llah; ashhadu anna Muhammadan rasulu 'llah”
i.e., "I [bear] witness/testify that there is no god but Allah, I [bear] witness/testify that Muhammad is the messenger of Allah."
“Lailaha illallah, Muhammadun Rasullallah” is another form of the shahada, which means the same, “There is no God, but Allah and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah”.
This is known as the shahadah (testimony/witness) and kalima (confession). Every Muslim should make a practice of uttering the Shahada daily at different occasions, so that they may be in a position to reply it as the answer to the first question asked by the two angels in their graves soon after the burial of every person. The poor infidels will not be able to answer it correctly, and as a result, their graves will be filled with tons of burning charcoal.
Allah’s Apostle said: “Islam is based on (the following) five (principles):
1. To testify that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and Muhammad is Allah’s Apostle……….” (Sahih Al-Bukhari/ Vol 1: Book 2: number 7)
These words are not found in the Qur'an. Therefore, Islam’s First Pillar is utterly meaningless, and impossible to implement, without the work of Muslim historians Ibn Ishaq (704-770 AD) and al-Tabari (838-923 AD). All Islamic books including the Quran were compiled, with fabrications as required, in the name of Muhammad, decades after his death.
UMAR PLAYED A VITAL ROLE IN MUHAMMAD’S “MADE TO ORDER” REVEALATIONS
Then who invented these Kalimas? It is clear that it is not from Allah or Jibreel or not even from Muhammad. If it was Muhammad’s invention, he could have easily inserted it into his Quran. Then who invented these verses, typical to that of the Quranic Arabic? It can be fairly assumed that it was Muhammad’s successors, who invented it as and when required so as to attain political stability. There are many influential people around Muhammad, who did this even during his life time. Out of them Umar – the very influential – has played a major role. Umar, one of Muhammad’s several fathers-in-law, was a brave, cunning and ruthless warrior, on whom Muhammad depended the most. By nature, he understood the real source of the so-called ‘Revelations’. Only a devil will know better about another devil. So, Umar put pressure on Muhammad to fabricate verses, according to his wish. And Muhammad didn’t like to disappoint Umar. So, he was bound to fulfill Umar’s wishes. To please Umar, Muhammad often praised him as a semi-prophet (see Sahih Al-Bukari Vol 1:22 & 82). As a result, many verses were first revealed to Umar (i.e. suggested by Umar) and then to Muhammad (i.e. Muhammad accepted it).
Whatever Umar wished and put pressure on Muhammad to comply suddenly appeared in the form of divine verses word by word. The Hijab Verse (24:31), giving warning to Muhammad’s rebellious 15 wives who used to fight in two factions (66:5) and the idea of Prophet Ibrahim’s praying at the Kaaba ( 2:125) are some of the verses that were ‘revealed’ word by word as Umar had wished.

Narrated 'Umar (bin Al-Khattab): My Lord agreed with me in three things:
1. I said, "O Allah's Apostle, I wish we took the station of Abraham as our praying place (for some of our prayers). So came the Divine Inspiration: And take you (people) the station of Abraham as a place of prayer (for some of your prayers e.g. two Rakat of Tawaf of Ka'ba)". (Quran/ Sura Baqra/ 2.125)
2. And as regards the (verse of) the veiling of the women, I said, 'O Allah's Apostle! I wish you ordered your wives to cover themselves from the men because good and bad ones talk to them.' So the verse of the veiling of the women was revealed. (Quran/ Sura An-Noor/ 24:31)
3. Once the wives of the Prophet made a united front against the Prophet and I said to them, 'It may be if he (the Prophet) divorced you, (all) that his Lord (Allah) will give him instead of you wives better than you.' So this verse (the same as I had said) was revealed." (Quran/ Sura Tahreem/ 66.5)

SHAHADA IN ADAAN (CALL OF PRAYER) IS AN INVENTION OF UMAR
Sunnis claim that the adhan was not written or said by Prophet Muhammad, but by one of his Sahaaba (companions). Umar, a prominent sahabah of Muhammad, had a vision in his dream, in which the call for prayers was revealed to him by God. He later related this to his friends. Meanwhile, this news reached Muhammad. He liked it and accepted it for calling the believers to prayer. Because of his stunning voice, Muhammad chose a freed Habashi (black) slave, named Bilal ibn Rabah al-Habashi, to give the call for prayers. (see Sahih Al-Bukhari/ Vol 1:578)
POWER OF THE SHAHADA
Aisha asked: Messenger of Allah, the son of Jud'an (a non-Muslim relative of hers) established ties of relationship and fed the poor. Would that be of any avail to him? He said: It would be of no avail to him. (Sahih Muslim 1:416)
The Messenger of Allah said: If anyone says I testify that there is no god but Allah and Muhammad is His Messenger, and I am satisfied with Allah as my Lord, with Muhammad as Messenger and with Islam as religion, his sins would be forgiven. (Sahih Muslim 4:747)
UTTERANCE OF THE SHAHADA, AND NOT NECESSARILY GOOD DEEDS, ASSURES PARADISE TO ADULTERERS & THIEVES
The Prophet observed: There is none who affirmed there is no God but Allah and died in this state and did not enter Paradise. I (Abu Dharr) said: Even if he committed adultery and theft? He (the Prophet) replied: Yes even though he committed adultery and theft. I (again said): Even if he committed adultery and theft? He replied: Yes even though he committed adultery and theft. The Prophet repeated it three times. (Sahih Muslim 1:172)
SAY SHAHADA AND ACCEPT ISLAM! OR ELSE!
The Messenger of Allah said: He who professed that there is no god but Allah and denies worship of all other gods, his property and blood remains secure from destruction. (Sahih Muslim 1:34)
O MUSLIMS! JUST UTTERANCE OF SHAHADA WILL NOT DO! GIVE ME MONEY!
The Messenger of Allah said: I have been commanded to fight against people till they testify that there is no god but Allah, that Muhammad is the messenger of Allah, and they establish prayer, and pay Zakat (tax) and if they do it, their blood and property are guaranteed protection on my behalf. (Sahih Muslim 1:33)
CONCLUTION
If this is the nature of the first pillar, then what would anyone anticipate of the remaining four pillars? Anyway, we will discuss about them gradually with second pillar, SALAAH (PRAYER), in the next article.
