This article is about the funny fairy-tales about the weekdays of the Islamic calendar. It appears that Muhammad’s ridiculous ideas in the form of supernatural bluffs was boundless.

Before going into the details of the weekdays of the Islamic calendar, it is important to know about how Muhammad plagiarized even the numerical order of the weekdays from the Jews, apart from the numerous ideas he copied from the Torah.

The first day of the week according to the Islamic calendar is Yom As-Sabt. This is copied from the Jewish calendar ‘Shabbat’, which means ‘the rest day’. Shabbat is the last day of the week according to the Jewish calendar, whereas the ‘Sabt’ of the Islamic calendar is the first day of the week after the rest day (Friday), which is nonsensical. More ridiculous is the fact that the second day of the Islamic calendar is called ‘Yom Al-Ahad’, which means the ‘first day’ in Arabic. The following tables explains the Jewish & the Islamic weekdays for easy understanding.

Sunday – Yom Reeshone – First day

Monday - Yom Shaynee - Second day

Tuesday - Yom Shlee’shee - Third day

Wednesday - Yom Revee’ee - Fourth day

Thursday - Yom Khah’mee’shee - Fifth day

Friday - Yom Ha’shee’shee - Sixth day

Saturday - Shabbat - Rest Day

Saturday - Yom As-Sabt - No meaning (Just copied from the Jews, which means ‘REST’)

Sunday - Yom Al-Ahad - First day (copied from Jews)

Monday - Yom Al-Itnain - Second day (copied from Jews)

Tuesday - Yom At-Tulata - Third day (copied from Jews)

Wednesday - Yom Al-Arba - Fourth day (copied from Jews)

Thursday - Yom Al-Khamees - Fifth day (copied from Jews)

Friday - Yom Al-Jum’ah - it mean ‘congregation’ (prayer) & a ‘rest day’

Friday is the ‘rest day’ of the week for Muslims. After Friday (the rest day), the next day – that is Saturday – should be the ‘first day’ of the week. But is Islamic calendar, Saturday is called ‘As-Sabt’, which means the ‘rest day’ (for the Jews). Sunday – the second day of the Islamic calendar – is called ‘Yom Al-ahad’, which mean ‘the first day’ in Arabic and the subsequent days are called ‘second day’ to ‘fifth day’ as in the Jewish calendar. Muhammad was following the Jewish calendar with 'Saturday' as the 'rest day'. After the Jews adamantly rejected Muhammad's desperate effort to bring them under his leadership, he became angry toward them and changed the Islamic 'rest day' to Friday, and gave it the name 'Yom Al-Jum’ah' meaning the ‘congregational prayer' day.

Allah proudly boast the fact that Muhammad was 'illiterate', so do all Muslims. This “rest day” conflict of Muhammad with the Jews reveal that he was not only 'illiterate' but also a seventh-century Arab without no positive creativity at all. So, when his changing the “rest day” from Saturday to Friday needed renaming or rearranging the rest of the days of the week, he had no idea what to do, and left them as such like in the Jewish calender. When Muhammad messed things up in his Quran and his followers pointed them out, he corrected them with the deception of abrogation verses. But he had no idea about how to correct the mess he created by making changes to the weekdays of the Jewish calendar. And thanks to Muhammad's utter stupidity, the Arabs will unfortunately, for all eternity, continue calling the 'first day' of the week the 'rest day', 'second day' of the week the 'first day' and so on.

It should be mentioned here that not only the weekdays but every idea of Muhammad in the Quran and the Sunna were copied from the Jews, Christians, Pagans and other communities. Jews had the highest influence on the shaping of Muhammad’s cult that is Islam. And tragic as it was, the same Jews were completely wiped out from the Arab Peninsula by Muhammad and his Jihadi bandits.

Muhammad was a greedly plunderer and persecutor of the non-Muslim communities. He naturally felt threatened by those whom he robbed and persecuted. He therefore wanted to ensure round-the-clock security for him. To that end, he planned the timing of the Islamic prayers in a manner that would ensure that his followers would be present round the clock at his mosque that was attached to his house. That way they could protect him from possible surprise attacks by those he offended.

So concerned was Muhammad about the threat to his life that he was not happy with his disciples' obedient appearance at his mosque for prayers at the specified times. He wanted to fortify the security cordon around him as much as he could. So, he deceived them by dangling attractive offers to spend their whole 'rest day' (i.e. the Friday) in his mosque to maximize his security:

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Friday is divided into twelve hours. Amongst them there is an hour in which a Muslim does not ask Allah for anything but He gives it to him. So seek it in the last hour after the afternoon prayer. (Abu Dawud 3:1043)

Abu-l-Qasim (the Prophet) said, "On Friday there is a particular time. If a Muslim happens to be praying and invoking Allah for something good during that time, Allah will surely fulfill his request." The Prophet pointed out with his hand. We thought that he wanted to illustrate how short that time was. (Sahih Al-Bukhari 2:13:57, 8:75:409; Sahih Muslim 4:1849,1850,1853)

'Abdullah b. Umar said to me: Did you hear anything from your father narrating something from the messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) about the time on Friday? I said: Yes, I heard him say from the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) (these words):" It is between the time when the Imam sits down and the end of the prayer." (Sahih Muslim 4:1855)

Although Muhammad claimed to have the knowledge of even the supposed heaven and afterlife, he actually had no knowledge about the common worldly things.

Confusing reasons for Muhammad’s fasting on Monday

Muhammad observed fast on Monday and Thursday. When his followers asked about the reason behind it, he confused them with various reasons as suited the situation.

Fast on Monday because Muhammad was born & revelation was sent down on Mondays:

…Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) was asked about fasting on Monday, whereupon he said: It is (the day) when I was born and revelation was sent down to me.” (Sahih Muslim 6:2603,2606)

Fast on Monday because Allah checks the deeds of his servants on Monday & Thursday:

“…The Prophet of Allah (peace be upon him) used to fast on Monday and Thursday. When he was asked about it, he said: The works of the servants (of Allah) are presented (to Allah) on Monday and Thursday.” (Abu Dawud 13:2430; Malik 47:47.4.18, 16:16.10.27; Sahih Muslim 32:6224)

More confusions about the days Allah checks the deeds of His servants

When asked about the reasons for fasting on Mondays and Thursdays, Muhammad already gave two confusing reasons. But silly as it was, Muhammad didn't stop there. He wanted to confuse this matter further. He further said that Allah checks the deeds of His servants on Thursday and Friday.

Allah checks the deeds on Thursday and Friday: The deeds are presented on every THURSDAY AND FRIDAY ….” (Sahih Muslim 32:6223)

Muhammad was born and revelation was sent down on Monday. He died on Monday too

Muhammad used to babble lies as situations demanded without any shame or hesitation. And his followers used to accept all his lies because of his tyranical and cruel nature. After his death, successive caliphs imitated him in the same way. Not only was Muhammad born and the revelation was sent to him on Monday, after his death, his disciples spread lies in like manner and claimed that he died on Monday as well.

Yahya related to me from Malik that he had heard that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, died on Monday….” (Malik 16:16.10.27, Sahih Al-Bukhari 2:23:469)

Gates of Paradise kept open only on Monday & Thursday

Muhammad said that Islamic Paradise has gates. Muhammad claimed to have abounded knowledge of the past and future happenings of the heaven and what will happen on the day of resurrection etc. Before one takes his statements about heaven seriously, one should scrutinize Muhammad's knowledge about our world. The following are a small set of hadiths from similar ones that will give us a good idea about the dependability of Muhammad’s sayings about the heaven:

Allah sent Muhammad with abundant knowledge like rain fall: The prophet said, “The example of guidance and knowledge with which Allah has sent me is LIKE ABUNDANT RAIN FALLING ON THE EARTH”. (Sahih Al-Bukhari 1:21:79)

Muslims have one intestine, non-Muslims have 7: Ibn 'Umar reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying that a non-Muslim eats in seven intestines whereas a Muslim eats in one intestine. (Sahih Muslim 23:5113)

Human being has 360 joints: The Apostle of Allah (peace be upon him) say: A human being has three hundred and sixty joints for each of which he must give alms…” (Abu Dawud 41:5222)

(In reality, human skeleton is composed of 270 bones at birth, which decreases to 206 by adulthood after some bones get fused together.)

Wings of a housefly cure diseases: The Prophet said "If a house fly falls in the drink of anyone of you, he should dip it (in the drink), for one of its wings has a disease and the other has the cure for the disease. (Sahih Bukhari 4:54:537)

(In reality, houseflies are known to carry germs and parasites that can be harmful.)

Dr. Muhammad – Run away from lepers: Allah's Apostle said, “…. one should run away from the leper as one runs away from a lion '' (SAHIH AL-BUKHARI 71:608)

(Wonder what will be the fate of those afflicted with leprosy if doctors would follow this command of Muhammad, which Muslims are supposed to?)

The sun goes under Allah's chair: The sun goes under Allah's chair and takes permission from Allah to rise again in the next morning. (Sahih Bukhari 4:54:421)

(Ignorance is bliss)

Allah says he created all species in pairs: “All things We have created by pairs." (Quran 51:49)

(Not true. Many bacteria, protist, fungi, and plants reproduce asexually.)

Only Allah knows a child’s gender in the wombs: “……none knows what is in the wombs (a male child or a female) but Allah…” (Quran 31:34)

(Today a technician in a clinic will inform you about the exact gender of the foetus is inside the womb)

Sun sets in a puddle of muddied water: Allah’s prophet; Alexander the great reached the far place where the sun sets. He found the sun set in a puddle of muddied water: near it he found some people. (Quran 18:86)

(Some astronomical knowledge of Allah. The Sun which is one million times bigger than the earth, but to Allah it sets in a spring of murky water.)

These hadiths and verses of the Quran are proof enough that neither Muhammad, an illiterate 7th-century tribal Arab, nor his imaginery Allah had the basic knowledge of this world. It then will be totally idiotic to have faith in what Muhammad said about the heaven and afterlife.

Muhammad said heaven has gates, which are kept open on Monday & Thursday: Allah's Messenger said: The gates of Paradise are opened on two days, Monday and Thursday. And then every servant of Allah is granted pardon except the person in whose heart there is ill will against his brother {fellow Muslim}. (Sahih Muslim 32:6222, Malik 47:47.4.17)

One day = 1,000 years

  1. A Day with Allah is as a thousand years of what ye reckon (Quran 22:47)

  2. He directeth the ordinance from the heaven unto the earth; then it ascendeth unto Him in a Day, whereof the measure is a thousand years of that ye reckon. (Quran 32:5)

One day = 50,000 years

  1. Unto Him in a Day whereof the span is fifty thousand years. (Quran 70:4)

  2. Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (way peace be upon him) as saying, “….. Whenever these cool down, (the process is) repeated during a day the extent of which would be fifty thousand years …..” (Sahih Muslim 5:2161)

Given the depth of inaccuracy in Allah's and Muhammad's knowledge about the common earthly matters as seen above, it is no wonder that they will make such grossly erroneous statements about matters relating to heaven.

Bleeding can't be arrested for an hour on Tuesday: Muhammad used to practice cupping for ailments. In this treatment, blood is drawn out by vacuum suction from a small skin incision for therapeutic purposes. Muhammad recommended this treatment to his followers. But some of his followers, smarter than him, used to ignore recommendation referring to Muhammad's own stupid statements:

Narrated Kabshah daughter of AbuBakrah: (the narrator other than Musa said that Kayyisah daughter of AbuBakrah) She said that her father used to forbid his family to have themselves cupped on a Tuesday, and used to assert on the authority of the Apostle of Allah (peace be upon him) that Tuesday is the day of blood in which there is an hour when it does not stop. (Abu Dawud 28:3853)

(The modern Muslim doctors and patients should re-think about performing operations on Tuesday, which is the advice and Sunna of their all-knowing prophet).
